C.U.T.S

Ok, ich hatte absolut keine Ahnung was mich hier erwartet. :D Mir fehlen absolut die Worte. Ich hatte eine Ahnung das es schlimm werden würde, aber das? Aber mal ehrlich gesagt. Ich liebe es!!! Endlich ist man nicht mehr nur das Opfer, sondern darf selbst mal Psycho spielen :D Dieses Spiel ist absolut Blood and Gore und sehr verstörend. Wer seinen Spaß an den Terrifier Filmen und Art dem Clown hat, der wird seinen Spaß bei diesem Game haben. Ich hoffe auf mehr solcher verstörender Werke. <3

This game is intense with grotesque imagery that could be uneasy for certain players. I enjoyed my time in C.U.T.S., but that shouldn't mean there isn't room for improvement. I appreciate the attempt at a good story, but there is a bit of vagueness that prevents me from fully engaging with the game. With that said, I found the game to run smoothly on my system. I streamed this and my community did find it hard to get through, not because of boredom or difficulty, but because the imagery was sometimes intense. I wish there were more tapes to dive deeper into the serial killer that we must have been watching. When we found the tapes at the dumpster I wasn't sure what was happening, was the the main character? The main character's friend? Or the serial killer? Either way, Indie horror is great and this game gave me some good jump scares and some grotesque moments. If you like short indie horror with an interesting story and play style give it a go.

Having played and enjoyed a couple of other games by this developer I was looking forward to C.U.T.S. While I still enjoyed this one enough to recommend it for horror fans, it is a little different from the previous games they have done. This one definitely didn't have as much of the creepy factor or scares from the previous titles. It also focuses a lot more on gore and shock factor, however that is part of the story line of the game. Just be aware you see what some people may consider intense things. C.U.T.S makes me regret that decision, it's really, really not good. I was intoxicated while playing it, but I wish I had been drunker... The graphics are fine, even impressive in spots, but oh my god does this game drag. 😩 In over an hour of gameplay I think there were 2 scares, that's it, the rest is just solving simple puzzles and torturing mannequins. It'as hard to believe that the same people that made Mortu made this, because Mortu is genuinely scary, this is not. I wanted to give this game a go based off playing unseen. I was a little skeptical going into this game as I read some reviews and they said this game is a lot different than his other games. Lots of dislikes on this game to as the reviews are mixed. In my honest opinion, I think this game is a master piece. This is how you create tension without the use of jump scares. It felt like a horror movie being told from a cheap video game perspective. I understand it's not for all, but this game terrified me. It's better than Unseen and I just bought the remaining of his games. This is what Indie horror is all about.

This may be the darkest and most brutal horror game I have ever played. Its not for everyone but its definitely an experience.
