About
In a world where mysterious plants are spreading all over the earth, emitting toxic spores as they grow, a small group of survivors seeks shelter on the back of a giant, wandering creature they call 'Onbu'.
Become their leader, build their settlement and form a symbiotic relationship with Onbu to survive together in this hostile, yet beautiful post-apocalyptic world.
A functioning village is the basis of your survival. Build your settlement and expand it over Onbu’s back. Plan production chains and optimise them to utilise the limited space as efficiently as possible. Create a society that can overcome any challenge.
Living on the back of another organism comes with its own set of challenges. Will you live in symbiosis, bond with Onbu and survive on mutual trust? Or will you become a parasite, only aiming to ensure a better life for your villagers? The choice is yours.
Continuously adapt your village as you travel through a multitude of different biomes, each with its unique climate zones, opportunities and threats. Scout your environments and send out foraging missions to gather rare resources and ancient artefacts.
Remnants of the old world hold knowledge that has long been forgotten, but can be unearthed by your villagers. Find and research these technologies, but use them wisely, as progress can be a double-edged sword.
Ensure the survival of both your villagers and your Onbu, even though poisonous spores, merciless weather, bloodsucking parasites and many more challenges mean that the odds are often stacked against you.

Reviews
Great City Builder. The lack of a consumption/production screen is somewhat annoying, but it becomes easier to guage things as you get used to the layout. The oversized puppy is adorable and I love them. I wish I could get a plush or something of them.
Really great story, intriguing gameplay, and beautiful artwork!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cool game but the Happiness mechanic can make this game pretty bad. My ideas to improve the game: Idea 1: Happiness rework Your Villager count is basically divided into 3 stages. 1. The ones you get during the starting Happiness buff 2. The ones you get after building upgraded houses and maxing them out 3. The ones you get after building the max level housing and maxing them out. My idea is basically Happiness will not govern if Villagers come but rather add to a score together with other parameters. Example: Let's say this new Parameter is Hope and it will be calculated based on your combined Happiness, Safety and Survivability, with this system if let's say Happiness is low but the others are high you will still be able to increase you population, and this is important because most of the time you sit with like 70 Villagers and you can't make progress because you lack some research or resource that is critical to making your Happiness higher and even if you get more Villagers they eventually leave because you Happiness is capped and you can't increase it to make them stay, also some stuff that increases Happiness just doesn't work and what i am talking about is food quality and food variety which sound good in concept but in practice are THE WORST mechanics in the ENTIRE game. Having many types of food means their overall quality will drop but banning low quality food to make quality bigger make variety drop, this two mechanics should be reworked ASAP or even better the ENTIRE Happiness mechanic should be reworked, it just does not work. Idea 2: Pest zoo It's just a pest zoo that will allow you to farm pest eggs more comfortably reducing the damage they deal to your Onbu, maybe it could also provide a decoration buff or something cool like that. Idea 3: Factions Basically you can choose a Faction you play as and each Faction provides a different twist to the gameplay. These ideas are just something that i wished i had during my time playing this game, Question: Why do Villagers need housing if they don't sleep at all?
Fun little city manager game. Managed to 100% it so will be taking a break but I like it enough to I'll play again in the future. Definitely recommended if this is a genre you like, especially for anyone who liked the world of Nausicaa from the Ghibli movie. Also, if you play this game and love Onbu, you can actually get 100% without hurting hi, you just have to be super patient. :)
Beautiful game
It's a fun game that I couldn't put down. I completed a run in story mode and it was very easy as the management is not deep (no adjacency bonuses or fertility to worry about.) I wish that the story was longer and that there was more verity in biomes. But for what it is, it's a good time
it has a amazing storymode sandbox is also fun and getting to see this onbu is just spectacular
Wandering Village is beautiful, heartwarming, and really engaging. The story is well told and offers a good balance between more heavy emotional experiences and silly fun. And managing the village will absolutely draw you into that "just this one more thing" mode of going to sleep too late. Overall, a wonderful experience.
It's good! It's fun! It's pretty!
I really like the game so far.
