Horrible game. Game keeps crashing if you try to load the third level. Needed a lot of restarts so I could play it. But then it`s way too big. The game is also glitchy as hell, graphics are bad, voice "acting" is ridiculous. After some enemies at the first level you get all weapons at once with an abundance of ammo. Some weapons have such a recoil that it is almost impossible to hit something with some. I got this for one buck, though I really don't know why I haven't invested in bubblegum instead. DO NOT PLAY THIS.
Despite all this games bugs and glitches, I found it quite... charming. The story is unintentionally hilarious and the area clearing gameplay is enjoyable when the difficulty is lowered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlOqbrBf-8c
Game made mum and dad got back together 10/10.
This game cured my depression. 10/10

The Unknown City: Horror Begins Now… Episode 1 is a first-person horror action game developed and published by Yash Future Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd that attempts to combine supernatural horror themes with straightforward shooter gameplay and episodic storytelling. Designed as the first chapter in a larger horror narrative, the game blends monster encounters, survival elements, and mystery-driven progression into a compact experience that leans more toward action horror than slow psychological terror. It follows a structure that recalls older horror shooters where atmosphere and combat work together rather than existing separately. The story begins with two police officers caught in severe weather while traveling toward headquarters. A wrong decision on an unfamiliar road changes everything. Stranded inside an isolated city surrounded by darkness and uncertainty, the officers quickly realize they have entered a place far more dangerous than expected. Strange creatures begin emerging from the shadows, survival becomes increasingly difficult, and a larger mystery surrounding the city slowly begins to reveal itself. The game establishes its premise quickly, using isolation and danger to create immediate tension. One of the stronger elements comes from how personal stakes influence progression. The central objective evolves beyond simply escaping danger when one officer discovers that his kidnapped wife has become tied directly to the events unfolding inside the abandoned city. This personal connection adds emotional motivation that helps strengthen the narrative. Rather than surviving purely for survival’s sake, players are pushed forward by a rescue mission that gives progression additional purpose. Gameplay focuses heavily on combat encounters. Players move through multiple levels while confronting hostile creatures that include zombies and supernatural enemies. Weapon variety becomes one of the game’s larger gameplay strengths. Shotguns, sniper rifles, machine guns, and other firearms become available as players advance further into dangerous territory. The variety helps prevent encounters from feeling completely identical and provides opportunities to approach situations differently depending on player preference. An upgrade system also supports progression by allowing equipment improvements throughout the experience. Strengthening weapons creates additional motivation to continue exploring while preparing for increasingly difficult threats. The progression systems remain relatively straightforward, avoiding excessive complexity while giving players a consistent sense of advancement. Atmosphere becomes especially important during quieter moments. Rain-covered environments, abandoned locations, and uncertain surroundings contribute heavily to the horror tone. The setting itself becomes one of the game’s more effective tools for building tension. Empty spaces and darker environments occasionally create genuine unease, particularly during moments where enemy threats remain hidden long enough to allow suspense to develop naturally. The game also deserves recognition for attempting to balance horror storytelling with action gameplay. Instead of fully committing to survival mechanics or becoming a pure shooter, it positions itself somewhere between both styles. Players who enjoy older action-horror titles may appreciate this structure more than players expecting purely psychological horror experiences. Visually, The Unknown City aims to create atmosphere through darker presentation and threatening enemy designs. While the technical presentation remains limited compared to larger productions, the visual direction occasionally succeeds in delivering moments of tension. Audio also contributes positively by reinforcing uncertainty and supporting environmental atmosphere throughout progression. However, limitations become increasingly noticeable over longer play sessions. Enemy encounters can become repetitive, and encounter design sometimes prioritizes quantity over variety. Certain gameplay sections may begin to feel predictable once players become familiar with progression patterns. Technical roughness also appears throughout portions of the experience, occasionally preventing stronger horror moments from reaching their full potential. Navigation and pacing can also create occasional frustration. Certain areas slow progression more than intended, and the overall flow sometimes struggles to maintain tension consistently. Independent production limitations become visible in both presentation quality and gameplay refinement, particularly when compared to larger horror releases. Even with those shortcomings, The Unknown City demonstrates ambition that deserves recognition. Yash Future Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd clearly aimed to create a larger episodic horror experience blending action gameplay with supernatural storytelling. While execution does not always fully realize those goals, the foundation shows genuine effort toward building an ongoing horror universe rather than a simple standalone experience. Players searching for highly polished horror design may encounter rough edges that reduce immersion. Those interested in smaller independent horror projects or action-focused supernatural shooters may find more to appreciate within its atmosphere and straightforward progression systems. As an opening chapter, it succeeds at establishing mystery and creating enough unanswered questions to encourage interest in where the larger story could eventually lead. Rating: 5/10
This game is like bad sex: it feels like sh#t and in the end you get aids
