I first played The Surge on PS4 when it originally released. It was fun then, it's still fun now. I would recommend it to any fan of the souls-like genre. Game also runs REALLY well! In my opinion, they did a bit better of a job in the sequel creating variety in how you can affectively play with various builds. With how certain weapons handle in this one, it feels like the most affective strategy is speed, meaning light armor/one handed or double rigged. The single rigged weapons do lots of damage, but are WAY too slow to use with lighter armor. It almost feels like you're locked to one or two weapon types for specific armors, as in, you need to use heavy class armor to be able to tank damage if you want to use slower, heavier weapons, because there's simply no avoiding the damage you're GOING to take with reduced speed and dodge capability. Still, easy 8/10 for me.

Couldn't even get past the first part of the campaign without screen tearing throughout the campaign, all within the first 9 minutes of the game. I'm not playing a game with screen tearing more than that amount of time, I have better games to play. Wouldn't reccomend buying this unless you get this on a sale and want to waste your $1.94. Performs horrible.
