About
There was once an ancient line of action figures, who created a magical power source that would allow humans to keep their favourite childhood memories of their toys. This ancient power source is known as the Hypercore. Inside the Hypercore are the beloved memories of our favorite toys. If Major Evil destroys it, these memories will disappear forever. Defend it with everything you've got, or see our cherished toys turn into lost treasures of the past!
If you grew up watching classic toy movies and playing with action figures, get ready for the ultimate action figure game! Hypercharge takes you back to the original drawing board of action shooters, with no pay-to-progress, weapon meta, or slide cancelling. Just simple, light-hearted, casual fun!

Single player/offline play with player bots.
Difficulty scales based on the number of players.

Work together as a team to defend the Hypercore. Grab a friend, break out of your toy packaging, and get ready to fight waves of classic toys. Prepare for each wave by searching for weapons, resources, and even hidden secrets.
Not everybody likes to play online. Hypercharge supports Offline, Split-Screen and Local play. You can progress and unlock everything in-game while playing solo.
Grab a second controller and jump in! Hypercharge lets you play the entire game in Split-Screen, with up to four-player co-op and PvP, both Online and Local. Team up and experience it all side-by-side on the couch.
Don’t have a team to play with? Don’t worry, we’ve got you solo players covered. Player bots listen to your commands, collect resources, and even help to build defences.
Earn unlocks the old school way, in-game with hard work! No Pay-to-Win nonsense.
Go head-to-head against other action figures as you fight to become top of the scoreboard! Classic PvP modes include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Battery, Infection, and King of the Hill.

Reviews
The charm won me over initially and I was quite excited to play, the character designs are fun, the presentation is great, but where this game dies for me is the actual gameplay and progression. The movement is floaty and awkward, the gunplay isn't particularly satisfying, there's no abilities, no items or throwables, most enemies are spongey, there are no classes or differences between the characters, no leveling up system, the unlocks are tied to objectives only so you'll constantly be unlocking stuff for characters you don't even have yet, the HUD is so damn small. The actual gameplay loop feel unbalanced, sometimes it's easy without trying and sometimes you do your best to engage in mechanics only for the game to screw you over. There's lots of small issues we found whilst playing that i don't understand how it slipped playtesting. Honestly, I had high hopes and it felt extra painful when I realsized the game just wasn't great imo.
SMALL SOLDIERS HALO WHY ISN'T EVERYONE ON THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PLANET PLAYING THIS???

Not sure if anyone plays this game because I can't find any matches online to join and for whatever reason I can't host one.
Yes, I wrote a "Positive review" but for me is a neutral actually, I tried to really love the game, the genre is awesome and not many games are like this in terms of aesthetic. I completed almost everything, after 30 hous which in terms of hours is far more than the game offers you. The art is beautiful, ambience, characters, etc. The main thing is... Is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tower defence and the gameplay loop is lacking. The enemies are just sponges with some bosses that are actually cool. Is not a bad game by any means, but 100% being honest is not good enough for me to recommend to most people.
If you're looking for a game to play with friends with a cool premise is this one! I love that I can do split screen multiplayer and just sit on the couch like the old days!! And if that's not an option you can do Online coop
This game is really good, way better than Fallout New Vegas. Obsidian should take some notes because the gunplay, story, and parkour are way better than anything they’ve made. On a scale of Fallout New Vegas-10 this game is a 7
Love being a small character in a big world. I can't understand why someone can't make a game like this that doesn't take off. But I can't recommend this one. Game is dead. No servers. No players.
Reminds me of some maps I used to play in UT2004... Now I am enjoying splitscreen with my son!
Tro cool Toy Story
Idea is great and so are the environments. Gameplay is rough and clunky as ♥♥♥♥ and tbh is hardly worth the $17 I paid for it. Still, I recommend. May not be what I prefer but I appreciate the dev for taking a risk and trying something different. It's not predatory, not a cash grab, not woke, no unnecessary BS, etc. That earns my respect.
