I wish this series got more love. While I liked the setting and atmosphere of the original Surge more overall, the Surge 2 adds character customization, new weapon classes, and bosses with far better mechanics than the first game. The dlc is also great. I never get tired of the limb severing animations in these games and the Surge 2 has even more.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I tried to give it chance multiple times because I love the idea of gathering your armours and weapons with targeting specific parts of enemies. But the combat itself is just ♥♥♥♥ there is no better way to say it. I gave it up at a point where you meet these robot statues that constantly do 360° spear swipe that you effectively cannot dodge. I've tried dodging into the attack didn't work I've tried dodging away it didn't work the only thing that I've didn't mess with was parrying because it didn't fit into my build. Yeah if you wanna see where the attacks are coming from you have to have an Implant installed. Keep in mind attacks can come from four angles up-down-left-right I'll let you figure it out where it's coming when animations are sometimes super missleading. You are constantly getting bombarded with groups of enemies. Be prepared there are parts where TWO HEAVILY ARMOURED enemies and constantly FAST SLIDING after you with HEAVY ATTACKS while another npc is constantly shooting you aswell WHICH BTW breakes your poise. Multiple encounters where you are fightning againts two or more humans while a fast robot is chasing and you are also getting shot at. Story also isn't something super intresting so it keeps me going to find out what happened. World setting is meh at best. The only two things that I've found actually decent is all the shortcuts you open slowly while exploring the city and audio is also pretty decent. Other than that I gave it a fair chance but what you do 90% of the time is ♥♥♥♥ which is combat.

good game

좋으면 하고 아님 말고
While lots of the mechanics were fun, like armor destruction and directional parry (although I basically never used it because it was too hard for me to do consistently) the story was hard to pay attention and care about and the enemies felt downright unfun most of the time. Weapon and armor design was really cool but some weapons just felt unusable compared to others. Final boss was good though, especially compared to the boss before the final one. I probably would't have gotten this game if it wasn't on sale and would only "recommend" this game if you enjoy difficult games
Its a very nice game
