About
WELCOME TO THE VEXINGTON HOTEL
It's graduation night in Lucid Falls, and eight teenagers have wandered from the party only to discover THE SPIRIT LIFT, a magical elevator that transports them through 13 floors of monsters and mayhem!
This ever-changing 3D hotel changes depending on the boss which awaits them in the penthouse. Gather cards, gold, and gear while navigating the eerie corridors on the way to the top. Beware of unpredictable events and creepy enemies lurking in the shadows!
EACH TEAM CHANGES STRATEGY AND STORY
Familiar deck-building gameplay with a survival horror twist! Use your equipment deck to fight the creatures prowling the hotel. Upgrade cards as you gain experience, balancing your deck by blending four deck focuses any way you prefer. Decades of history have filled the halls with items from many eras, including plenty of '90s nostalgia. Even that one squiggly doodle cup everyone used to have.
Your trio of teenagers determines your start deck and so much more. Watch their relationships unfold as they answer riddles, discover their own backstories and use their individual strengths to bypass risky dilemmas.
BE KIND, REWIND, AND SEEK THE TRUTH LOST BEHIND
Death is encouraged in this deranged experiment! Unlock new characters, bosses, and events by playing multiple times and exploring different strategies. Learn how to collect more cards and gear by perusing the Library.
Win or lose, earn Spirit points to spend on customizing your next trip through the hotel. Discover hidden evidence, unexpected secrets and the lift's true purpose.

Solid game, very interesting concept, loving the music, still playing through it and unlocking everything. Finding some crazy cards, powerful combos, stuff you would expect from a deck builder. Noticing a lot of people giving it a negative review and have only about an hour of gameplay, which leads me to believe they just didn't read, explore, or appreciate anything. Love the references to various things, such as the jack in the box with a skateboard saying "Hello fellow teens" Love that meme. I certainly hope they keep adding to this game, more mysteries and story, more enemies, more cards, more events and environments, more music! Keep up the good work!
I adore the presentation of this game. The atmosphere is on point, the graphics are nice, the little bits of lore are intriguing, and the the soundtrack is quite fitting. It's just a shame that as a deckbuilder, there is so much that falls flat. Enemies are constantly reused and recolored. There's a large pool of things to unlocked, but so much is locked from the beginning that you see the same things repeatedly. Their attack patterns are uninspired: most enemies can be divided into a pattern of "attack, then apply a negligible debuff". Balancing is extremely poor: some rare gear was worthless, while a common gear went infinite with just the cards in the starting deck. Runs are a slog: way too much time is just snooping around in hallways and elevator animations. The great presentation can't save a bad game. This is easily my biggest gaming disappointment of 2026 so far.
highly replayable a lot of unlockables and achievments many combinatioon of characters and cards great roguelike deckbuilding
Genuinely one of my favourite titles from this genre, roping me back in day after day. The sheer variety of starting characters/gear/cards you can mix & match, and all the builds they can enable, really gives you a reason to come back and play run after run after run. There were also a not-insignificant number of times I thought I was reaching the end of things you can discover, only for the game to open up another layer of complexity. Additionally, it feels like there's more variety with statuses and cards than in other comparable games, and I can't put my finger on why, but the very act of deckbuilding has a distinctly different feel from its colleagues like Slay The Spire. Also, Dorian is hot.
The vending machine doesnt have a healing option.
i love this game, what a beautiful passion project, genuinely fun to play and such personality in the design with a hint of nostalgia
At the beginning it is a very barebones Slay the Spire clone, albeit with a fun theme but amateurish writing. During a 45 minute run you can maybe add or remove 10 cards from your deck, so what you start out with is basically what you fight thef final boss with. I suspect if you unlock more stuff there's some depth, but sadly the unlock process is hellishly grindy and slow. I don't want a game that will only _eventually_ be good.
All the negative reviews are Gen Z "I've played for 1 hour and want everything now" Yes this falls under the shadow of STS, but the low difficulty is a nice distraction from yet another A10 failure The drip feed lore and global upgrades* add mystery, intrigue, and a tangible sense of progression *There is a REFUND button in the spirit shop Technically 2000+ different staring configurations BANGING soundtrack
Slay the Spire w 3D?
