We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Very good game . This games seems to have gone under the radar slightly with only 1599 positive reviews after being out for 4 years . To me this game is up there with the best of the genre and again I am surprised at the lower number of reviews , as to me this game is a very very good game . Had me instantly hooked and the game mechanics work really really well .
would be a good game except 1 terrible flaw. the game will spam you with attack cards when you need to move and with move cards when you need to attack. Basically if the rng is bad you cant play the game. It would be smart to have move cards independent of attack cards. This way you can always move and always attack. As is the game is an ok tactical card battler, great art, etc but with a flawed game system that makes it a lot less fun than it could be.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Trials of Fire is extremely tabletop-ish and pretty old school, yet it manages to deliver a very rich rpg & tactical experience that keeps you engaged at all times.
Had a break from playing for a few months, came back to it and it would no longer play but after switching to proton experimental and verifying the files it now works perfect for steamdeck.
Great game, very addictive! Word of advice Spend a few hours on easy mode a few=(10-20)
Acá no pasa. ⸻ 📝 REVIEW IN ENGLISH 🔶 Good board game ideas trapped behind a cheap presentation ⸻ Trials of Fire left me with very mixed feelings. On one hand, it has a solid foundation. It feels like a well-thought-out board game with interesting card mechanics, tactical combat, and decision-making that could have led to something deeper. But everything around that core falls apart. Visually, the game looks cheap and lifeless. Cardboard-like effects, characters that feel like simple tokens on a board, and zero sense of adventure or immersion. Nothing pops, nothing draws you in. I’m not asking for cutting-edge graphics, but presentation matters — especially in a genre this crowded. Here, it just doesn’t work. I never felt motivated to keep playing based on what I was seeing or experiencing. Honestly, it’s not worth your time unless you’re running a PC with the power of a Sega Genesis and have nothing else to play. There are far better games in this genre that offer more personality, polish, and engagement. It’s probably one of the cheapest options… and it shows. ⸻ 🎯 Final Verdict: Trials of Fire has decent ideas, but its bland visuals and cheap execution completely undermine them. In such a competitive genre, “good enough” simply isn’t enough. 🔸 FINAL SCORE: 3/10 Cheap price, cheap experience.
Just an absurd learning to try and get started and absolutely no retries on anything. It makes difficult to get better because you don't know if you're losing due to strategy, build or RNG. I was trying to get my footing cause there's some good ideas here but then in the second lore quest, you can just run into the unbeatable end boss (unless you find the mcguffin first). Then you just lose and have to start over. And that's fine if there was any indication at all that was the end boss. Not worth the headache.
The hero's initial position takes up too many cards to be changed. 7/10 point.
