Good ideas executed poorly. This is one of those titles that promised much but only delivered a bugged mess of crashes.
+ great graphics, no motion sickness thanks to teleport - lags on i5-4590/970, bugs to do list: 1. teleport at many places didn't work when free locomotion work 2. change teleport button to touchpad 3. disable free locomotion buttons in teleport mode 4. add shield in 1 hand instead of sword, look at Mage's Tale 5. add easy story mode, the game is too tough for me 6. music is too loud, can't hear speach often 7. remove darkness when wounded, it's too dark world anyway Edit: After Patch Version 1.3 the game is much better. No. 3 and 6 solved. More smooth. Still some bugs, but very good FPS/RPG anyway. So I change my verdict to 8/10.
This game has a ton of promise but I think went to Early Access a bit too soon. Locomotion needs Improvement. Spell casting is an interesting concept but needs to be expanded upon. Instead of just drawing a narrow you should have to actually draw the symbol of the element you want to invoke. I will definitely buy the game again after the next update to check on its progress. Keep up the good work you are on the right track!
Love this game lots of fun.
Je recommande ce jeu pour soutenir les développeurs, qui s'acharnent dessus depuis un moment déjà. Il a beaucoup de potentiel.
Getting the feeling this is yet another bandwagon VR VAPORWARE/ABANDONWARE. Shame, it had potential.
Right out of the gate, I'm going to say some first impressions. pro: AMAZING GRAPHICS interesting dialogue and backstory. choices seem to matter in this game. magic system is interesting and fun to use. cons: melee combat does not feel good at all, no blocking or damage mitigation or collision with other swords enemies don't react naturally and their AI is terrible. some art is brilliant, other art is somewhat underdone - keyholes are sometimes hard to see on doors is my main gripe. inventory is reminiscent of tombraider, but grabbing items and picking them up is a little glitchy. you also have to pull out every key to unlock a door and use a specific key each time, fumbling through inventory. sounds are terribly dull. it does not complement the art at all. Summary: This is a beautiful game, but a lot of the combat and the logistics are a little underdone. Seing how this is a year old, this is apparently something the developer is either not that concerned about or not willing to change. This feels like a puzzle/story game with spells as the driving force, melee as an afterthought. For now i'm not going to recommend this game because of what i have seen, but i will not return it either. I'm going to play through, and see all the content, and then make a final conclusion.
The game is visually impressive and the combat feels good. Unfortunately I frequently find myself having absolutely no idea what I am supposed to go or how I am supposed to move onto the next area. Things you have to do to progress to the next area are no where near apparent. I also find frequently occuring bugs when moving items in and out of my inventory "ring" which causes the models to freak out and not stay in your hand when you hold them. I would recommend this game if it didn't have these glaring problems. the game seems to require a much more powerful computer compared to other VR games i've played. Edit: Game seems completely abandoned. Another batch of unfulfilled promises and wasted potential.
good just needs better combat
