Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Played on a Steamdeck @MatureContent
I have had the Smurfs collection on my to do list for a while, as I never really felt like playing it. It however turned out to be surprisingly fun. The story goes like this. Gargamel has found some sort of evil plant formula thing that is infecting the forest and entrapping the Smurfs. To save their home, Papa Smurf has put a team together to combat this new threat by mixing together an antidote. Your job is to spray this antidote around the infected parts of the forest using the Smurfizer and saving all of the lost Smurfs. The whole story is told in a fairytale like style with everything being divided into chapters in a book and told to you as you progress by a narrator. As you progress through the game and save more and more trapped Smurfs, you unlock new and better Smurf equipment to handle more obstacles and help heal the world faster. There are 3 difficulties to choose from, I chose the middle one and it was pretty easy, so the hardest shouldn't be that challenging. All dialogue is fully voiced and there is just the right amount to not end up feeling annoyed by it, this is a really good thing for kids who do happen to be this game's target audience. Like I already said, this game was surprisingly fun and it felt really good to play on the Steam Deck. I never really recommend paying full price for these children's games as they are often incredibly overpriced and I still won't recommend paying the full 20 bucks for this one, but on sale or as a key, I can definitely recommend giving it a try. ————————————————————————————— Help me out by following my Curator, I’d really appreciate it!!
The Smurfs – Mission Vileaf... what a pleasant surprise!
I’ll be honest, I was quite skeptical when I saw the gift notification: I hadn’t played a licensed game since I was like, 10? And they tend to have a reputation of being... not great. But this silly little Smurfs game is actually quite nice! It’s not perfect... but definitely worth a go, whether you like platformers, the smurfs, or even if you’re just curious! The story is quite simple: "Some strange evil plants start showing up around the forest, capturing Smurfs, and slowly getting closer and closer to their home. It doesn’t take long for them to realize that these are Gargamel’s doing, and with them, he’s just about to find their village. It is now in the hands of an ensemble of Smurfs: Hefty, Brainy, Chef and Smurfette; to save the day!" Nice, simple, to the point... it very much feels like an episode from the show, or like a special; and the little narrations as if it were a poem is super charming. It's great! Characterwise, Hefty is cool, Chef is fine... Smurfette is also cool (and it’s both funny and sad how all the Smurfs are after her...), as for Brainy... he’s so unlikeable! Always pointing out people’s flaws and mistakes... oh well, three out of four is still good. The gameplay was honestly the most shocking part to me. 'Cause, you know, it’s a silly little Smurfs game, and it looked polished, but I didn’t know what to expect... I definitely wasn’t expecting this sort of “Daxter (PSP)” resembling game, that’s for sure! I wouldn’t say it’s as good as Daxter: It’s definitely quite slow, and clunky at times, and the levels can be quite tedious if you're going for completion (specially the last two... yuck!). But this sure brought some sweet memories from the aforementioned game! And as you get more and more upgrades, it becomes more and more fun!... You may need a guide to find some collectables though, because there is no radar upgrade at the shop, and while the levels are fun and well designed, they feel HUGE when you're looking everywhere! And if you don't have the right upgrade to reach the missing collectable... again, yuck... Visually, this little game is really pleasant. Like, it's very cute, colorful, and stylised. It's so nice, the game manages to look great without it being massive in size nor demanding on your PC, reaching that very desirable timeless and affordable feel to it. Every world is unique and distinct, maybe a bit generic to some, but grounded for the universe in my opinion. The animations during gameplay are also bubbly and fun. For the cutscenes however... they really could've done a better job. They end up just placing the Smurfs on a set position, cycling through some set animations which look fine... but not great. They could've done a better job... In summary, this sweet little game is a nice hidden gem. Not a perfect game by any means, it definitely has it's flaws, but I really like it! And had I grown up with it, I would’ve loved it!! It may be a bit expensive for its price, considering how short it is... but even then, if you’re interested in it, I’d say it’s a good purchase! So whether now, or on a sale, you should give it a go! And, once again, I have to thank my darling, Moonie-Pie for this wonderful gift! An unexpected gift turned into a sweet little gem, for me, for us!! We should dive deeper into this little universe together my heaven, I know you love it! So, once again, thank you so much darling, I love you so so so so so so so so much!! 🐰💝💖💗💖💝🐱
_____________8__88_____8 ____________88_8__8_____8 ___________888_____88___88888 __________8888______88_8____88 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______8_______8 _________8888_____8_______8 __________88888____8______8 ___________8888888______8 __888_________88888_8 8888888________88_____ _8888888_______8_____ __888888_______88_____ ___88_____8_____8_____ ____8______8____8_____8_88 _______8888_8__88_8_88888 _____888888_8_88__8888888 ____8888888__88______88888 ____88888_____8_________888 ____88_________8__________8 _____8_________8_____ _______________8_____ ____________8_8_____ _____________88_8_____ ______________88_____ ______________8_____
cute game but kinda annoying to play lol
absolutely not. I wouldn't recommend buying this game, even if you're a fan, maybe only on the huge sale. planning to get it for your child? well, think again. the simplest difficulty level is very challenging and the "flying" part can't be skipped. anyone trying this—whether it's you, your child, or anyone else—will only end up frustrated. additionally, the save spots are placed in locations that are far from being helpful (i.e. flying), resulting in tears xd and growing frustration. if you think this game includes a co-op feature, don’t count on it; you'll mostly just be hovering around the main player without actually participating in the game. this can be seen in playthroughs, but please, check it before. if you, however, insist on playing, I suggest using a controller.
Smurfs 2 is better in pretty much every way you can think of, but this is still good fun. A bit on the easy side, but never really boring. A nice relaxing experience.
If your monitor is higher than a 60fps refresh rate, the Smurfs will not jump high enough or glide long enough to complete the game. Locking my monitor into an eye-bleeding 30fps and forcing vsync didn't help. Couldn't make it through the tutorial (which is several levels long) because I grew tired of watching Brainy Smurf plummet to his death repeatedly. He just won't jump high enough because this game has janky last gen console port written all over it.
Honestly better than i thought it would be. It has some flaws and bugs but its overall pretty solid for a licensed game.
