Where it all began. Despite it being quite an old game, it still plays well till this day. Plus the cutscenes are awesome to look back on.

I was curious to see what the beginning of the Worms series had to offer, but...isn't this game kinda fun? Sure, it's is pixelated as hell and nowhere near how the future entries in the franchise would end up looking. Low resolution and outdated graphics everywhere, slow menus, and a very simple arsenal. But besides that, everything works just fine. The art direction is great, the gameplay is simple but addictive, and the action has that real "oomph" of impact. Probably a product of its time, but after beating the 25 challenge levels, I have to say the enemy AI is way overtuned. Enemy worms are playing like it's the Worms world tournament finals in every match or something. They pull off the sickest of trick shots with precision like 3 satellites triangulating your position in real time. Still fun though.

This game feels like opening a history book when looking back on the series. It is the one that started it all but even then I cannot recommend this one. It is slow, awkward to play and misses a lot the series later became popular for. Most of the fun comes from what the series turned into now rather than what it was but without this clunky experiment, we wouldn't have had the rest.

Не понравилась,вообще другие части норм но эта досовская сложная,не понятная,и сильно напрягается зрение черви выглядят как - глисты,играть не возможно,прошу вернуть средства.Не для олдскула.Не стоит внимания не в библиотеке как и в копеешной покупке,хоть и игре 31 год.Не подходит для 2026 года,старьё.

This one? Pure nostalgia. No discussion. Worms looks simple, sounds goofy… and plays like chaotic turn-based madness that just hits every time. Nostalgia factor? Through the roof. Gameplay depth? Simple, but insanely fun. You take turns, aim your shots, and try to absolutely destroy your friends with the most ridiculous weapons ever made. Holy Hand Grenade, Banana Bomb… that stuff is legendary. It’s slow, yeah. It’s random, yeah. But that’s exactly why it’s fun. Every round feels different, every fail is funny. ✅ Massive nostalgia vibes ✅ Perfect chaos with friends ✅ Iconic weapons ✅ Easy to pick up ❌ Can feel slow sometimes ❌ RNG can mess you up hard ❌ Not much depth if you play solo Final verdict: 9/10 – Simple chaos, endless fun.

The original is still the best!!! when my kids were small, I would set a computer vs computer match up and we would just sit for hours watching the worms duke it out and they would have the best time falling out laughing at the chaos, those were the days!!!

This is how it started the [b]Worms[/b] game series, with the "Exit to DOS" ESC menu, great times !
