About

Solve ancient puzzles, collect tarot cards, and complete the zodiac trials to climb the mountain and save your people in Ascend, a 3D puzzle adventure. Shift between Day, Twilight, and Dusk with your Time Turner to reveal secrets, alter the landscape, and discover hidden paths. Will you ascend?

To save her people and restore balance to the world, Aurora must do what nobody has ever done before: navigate the zodiac trials to scale the mystical mountain and uncover the secrets of a lost civilisation.
Each challenge contains a puzzle linked to the constellations.

Shift between Day, Twilight, and Dusk with the Time Turner. Each time of day has a different effect on the world, revealing secrets, altering the landscape, and opening hidden paths to allow you to solve the puzzles.

Collect the mysterious tarot cards across the mountain to learn their secrets.

You are not the first to attempt this journey. Discover the remnants of past pilgrims, hear their echoes, and uncover the myths that shape your journey.

Just as Aurora must overcome her fears and struggles in the trials, many people face their own struggles with mental health. That’s why we’ve partnered with Safe in Our World, a charity focused on supporting mental health awareness through video games.

cool premise, some interesting ideas, but its a buggy mess that barely functions. - controller shows the wrong keys (if it shows any at all) - no control settings at all (cant rebind) - frequent seams in geometry - audio sometimes does not play or plays too many times - game breaking bug where the final puzzle of the first chapter does not work the light beam just goes away and does not come back. Also really strange bug where after interacting with something, interacting with anything else just warps you back to the previous thing. feels like this game was rushed and not tested, lots of BASIC things done poorly or just flat out missing.
What a beauty. I've only done the first two Zodiac trials I think, but I'm loving it so far. The visuals are fantastic, the voice acting is on point, and the atmosphere is just chill and dreamy. The echoes of the prior pilgrims have some emotional heft though. Crazy how the devs made that work with only 1 or 2 lines of text per pilgrim. Stoked to see where this goes next.
Enjoying this! I played the demo but there's loads more to the full game - lots of puzzles, I've managed to collect a couple of the tarot cards and have been exploring the environments a bit! I like finding animals to pet, and the puzzles are easy enough for me to get through!
**Likes:** - The overall style and design of the level are really cool, unique, and different. - The tarot cards are exceptionally well-designed. They remind me of the latest Resident Evil games in terms of item inspections. - The puzzles are straightforward yet fair, allowing a range of age groups to enjoy the game without being too challenging. - Some of the music was quite tranquil and matched the mood - The art-style of the journal was nicely done **Dislikes:** - I wish there were more animals that could be pet. - I would have liked to see more hidden lore about the world and the different deities associated with the horoscopes. - I encountered a small gap under a building, which caused me to fall under the map. I had to reload the game to get out. - The various time skips are a great aspect of the game. If more gameplay elements and collectible items were added around this feature, it would enhance the overall fun. Overall, I understand that this game is still in its early stages of development as a public version. I hope more features will be added in the future to enhance the gaming experience. I enjoyed the current version of the game, and my little niece also had a great time playing the demo at an expo earlier this year.
Cute little game
After falling in love with the demo, I was eagerly awaiting the full release of Ascend and it didn't disappoint at all! From the moment I stepped back into its serene world, I was reminded why this game stood out to me in the first place. The puzzle mechanics are clever and satisfying, striking that perfect balance between challenge and relaxation. It's rare to find a cosy game that lets you truly unwind after a long day, and Ascend nails that vibe effortlessly! The full game expands beautifully on the demo’s promise. Exploration feels genuinely rewarding, with plenty of charming collectables tucked away in its tranquil corners. The art style continues to impress me even now, it's full of personality and charm. And the soundtrack? Absolutely stunning! It wraps around you like a warm blanket, perfectly complementing the chill atmosphere. The voice lines add a lovely touch of character and emotion, making the experience feel even more personal. It’s clear this game is a labour of love, and I want to give a huge shoutout to the devs for crafting something so special. If you're looking for a peaceful, immersive puzzle adventure that soothes the soul and sparks curiosity, Ascend is a must-play. Highly recommended for anyone reading this!
After following this game from the first demo all the way through to release i cant emphasis how much im taken back! so much things i can touch on but i want to try keep it short! - Gameplay is STUNNING! graphics is GENUINELY beautiful and its so easy to just get lost in the environment and the views! i found myself getting sidetracked and just taking it in! Even the little collectable items you find along the way is just amazing with how much attention to detail there are to them! - Soundtrack and sound effects are NEXT LEVEL! HONESTLY SO BEAUTIFUL! i LOVE how amazing they sound honestly just straight up bangers!! - Aurora's is the goat! from her character design to her voice acting! - The Puzzles were REALLY good! Not too challenging but enough to make you spend a couple of minutes on them which isnt a bad thing at all! yes there was some head scratching moments but the feeling of victory after completing eachpuzzle was top tier! This game just is amazing and for the price you get SO MUCH CONTENT! Hours of fun! HIGHLY RECOMEND!
Interesting story and engaging puzzles, having a lot of fun with this gem.
Good bones but lacking polish. The game has a fun aesthetic and lots of interesting features and design elements, but many pieces of the environment have slightly misplaced or unfinished-looking placement. The character has some janky movement, some dialogues don't play audio, and I am able to get into MANY places that I definitely shouldn't. Like being able to maneuver past an invisible wall at the very start of the game and then jump straight into the void, where I then fall forever until quitting and resuming. If this game is still being worked on, I think it has definite potential. If it is finished... that's unfortunate. EDIT: Apparently the game is still being actively worked on. Good Luck to the devs, you've got some work ahead, but i think by the end you'll have something to be proud of.
Good game, many puzzles
