Sims 2 is better than Sims 4.
The best Sims game in my opinion. Just complex enough on choices for gameplay (with all the expansions). I read quite a few reviews about the games (Sims 1 and Sims 2) crashing when playing. I haven't not experienced this as of yet, and haven't noticed anything that makes me think it will crash. I have included my PC specs in this review for reference. Overall, I would totally recommend The Sims 2! If you're an OG player wanted to feel nostalgic like me, or if your a new player looking for a classic to sink your time into, then this is worth it!

so this game had a rough launch. decided to wait a bit and see how things have changed 1 year later the game runs worse than my 20 year old CD, is missing a TON of content, still has a ton of glitches, and above all else: tons of community mods aren't compatible anymore due to changes to sims files. no bodyshop, no IKEA or certain songs due to licensing issues, bonus content like the christmas pack completely absent, etc etc. this re-release is utter crap. I am sorry yall.
Well, it crashes a lot. But it's the best game ever and a lot of people still play it all around the world. Try modthesims and reddit groups for advice on how to fix stuff. That's sort of part of the fun! Haha!!

unplayable on my intel pc. crashes on launch. its been like this since launch and its still not fixed.
O jogo não veio com o Body shop, esperava que as funcionalidades do Body Shop já viessem dentro do jogo, mas não foi o que ocorreu. O jogo também não veio com o pacote IKEA Home Stuff, que trazia os objetos mais "modernos" dentro do jogo, fiquei bem desapontada em como o jogo veio incompleto, tendo em vista o preço dele mesmo sendo um jogo de mais de 20 anos... Além de quê, nos 30 primeiros minutos de gameplay, travou bastante e demorou muito para carregar os bairros, famílias e criador de sims, acabou crashando e saindo do jogo absolutamente do nada. Esperei completar mais de 1 ano para comprar o jogo ver se realmente valia a pena, e a conclusão é: Não vale a pena, além de caro não é otimizado, a experiência foi horrível.
Esse é um dos meus jogos favoritos, mas tenho que dizer que ele não roda bem no windows 11. O jogo abre na terceira tentativa. Quando usamos "alt+tab" para trocar de janela no windows, o jogo simplesmente crasha e fecha completamente (sem saves, nem nada). Para um jogo antigo e de 129 reais... mores... precisam dar mais atenção à jogabilidade. É jogável MESMO? Agora, quando roda (e nos 30min antes de crashar), eu lembro o quão amo esse joguinho aqui. Mas estou cogitando seriamente em jogar paralelamente.
It's by far the best The Sims game in the entire franchise. Being able to play this masterpiece again is a true honor.
