The Sims™ 2 Legacy Collection

So nostalgic... really appreciate this re-release!

The Sims 2 is a great game but I can't recommend this version. Its okay enough for the most part but there are a lot of little things like being able to change the resolution that are just... not there. I have the disc version and there are little bugs in this version like furniture rotating without me asking it to that aren't in the original. If you use graphics rules maker and apply some other fixes (and can get your hands on it some how still) the original is a far better experience in my opinion. This is okay if you can get past stuff like that but I really can't. This is just a first impression though, you can see my play time.

Bro Sims 2 best sims game hands down, literally of all the games this is the one that I keep coming back to, you have to play it man.

The build music is fantastic! The roofing tool will either make or break you - be sure to look up the angle cheat and learn your keyboard shotcuts (home/end, pgup, pgdwn). Sometimes I wish my kitchen islands could stick together face to face. Still haven't figure out the expansion stuff. Wish my chairs would tuck in in build mode. ... oops, I just spent 30 hours straight building. Best chill building sim. (I know they probably spent a lot of time on the rest of the game, but so far I've just wanted to build, build, build.) Ok, so I just hit the 2100 wall limit and I'ma cry. Best chill building sim until you can't even finish a quarter of your project with the alotted amount of walls :( Still metric ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of greatness and fun... just ... need like 5 times more walls.

Since a preteen, I've always enjoyed the SIMS. I lost all my games years ago so STEAM enabling me to get back with the legacy really heals that inner sim child in me :3

Sims 2 was my jam back in the day. I'm so glad I can finally play all EPs! (The disc version had malware DRM from BV onwards so I stopped at Seasons.) So far, it's been running smoothly. I haven't had a single crash or error (compared to when I ran the disc versions on Win10). And I have about 2GB of custom content files. So I'm not sure why others are having issues with it crashing, because it's running as sleek as a seal pup for me. So much nostalgia! The mechanics of this game are a lot deeper than you might expect. It's really worth a try.
