About
Renowned artist Theobald Breitsam is found dead in his workshop, surrounded by occult symbols and hundreds of black feathers. His body is covered in wounds - but they were made by no blade. They were inflicted by something that should not be possible.
The city council already has a suspect accused of witchcraft and is pressing for a swift verdict before panic spreads.
Conrad is the town's executioner. His duty is to carry out sentences - not to question them.
But something is terribly wrong.
Is it witchcraft? Superstition? Or is there a truth behind these events that defies every rational explanation?
The deeper Conrad digs, the less human this case becomes.
As the town's executioner, Conrad belongs to the so-called "dishonourables" - people forced to live on the fringes of society. Feared. Shunned. Yet indispensable.
Precisely because of this, doors open to him that remain closed to everyone else. He speaks with beggars and patricians, prisoners and priests. He moves between taverns, prison cells and council chambers, following a trail of contradictions and carefully concealed secrets.
Executioner Conrad knows the darkest sides of human nature. But this time, he is facing something darker still.
Someone - or something - is watching him.

It is not often in these days that there is a good and decent message portrayed in a game, story, movie, or anywhere else. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of this game. It made me imagine that the 1980's and 1990's could still be alive and well, as it can be any day.
A very nice, historically accurate pixel art adventure about an executioner who struggles with the rich and privileged to seek justice for dead and living alike. It took me three hours to finish it, it was quite linear, but at the same time, it is very well made. The pixel art backdrops are gorgeous, the character animation and design less so, but still very good. There are no voiceovers, but I did not particularly mind. I would gladly buy and play any similar game, and i highly recommend it to fellow gamers.

Short but well done from a single dev. Enjoyed the story and the graphics throughout the town were lovely.
Eine spannende Geschichte gut als Spiel umgesetzt. Für mich definitiv sein Geld wert.
Short and sweet. Finished in under 2 hours and could have refunded, but decided to support. Good job! I'd love to see more titles.
Für das Geld schon relativ kurz. Trotzdem gut, "frikelig", aber schaffbar ohne Lösung. Die Geschichte lässt einen jedoch nicht nachdenklich zurück...
A very typical classical point-and-click game. Fans of the LucasArts- or AGS-era will feel right at home. Decent for it's price, but the straightforward story is ultimately too short to build up enough momentum towards the final resolution. While it starts off intriguing, it deflates quickly towards the end, which comes much too soon and is frankly rather lacklustre. The game would have benefited with taking it's time with a decent number of more chapters to build up the plot. The game features a number of fairly charming characters, but none are given enough game time for us to care very much for them, including the protagonist whose redemption arc comes a bit too quickly and whose background is not nearly explored enough. The game is completely linear and the puzzles are for the most part very simple. I only found myself somewhat stuck once. The town is pretty big and it and its surroundings are very beautiful, but they are both sorely under-utilized. Most areas rarely needs revisiting once you've completed the one or two things you were supposed to do there. In essence. It's a cozy little game that doesn't quite make the impact it tries to. For fans of the genre it's alright for a few hours of time kill, but don't expect to get blown away. It still gets a thumbs up for it's price level and because I suspect it's a small studio of people who love the genre - which I can greatly respect.
It was alright.
This was a great point n click mystery! I thoroughly enjoyed the dialogue and story and enjoyed the fact that it didn't drag on for too long. Get on it!!
Great little game, short but sweet! All achievements completed!
