About
Renowned artist Theobald Breitsam is found dead in his workshop, surrounded by occult symbols and hundreds of black feathers. His body is covered in wounds - but they were made by no blade. They were inflicted by something that should not be possible.
The city council already has a suspect accused of witchcraft and is pressing for a swift verdict before panic spreads.
Conrad is the town's executioner. His duty is to carry out sentences - not to question them.
But something is terribly wrong.
Is it witchcraft? Superstition? Or is there a truth behind these events that defies every rational explanation?
The deeper Conrad digs, the less human this case becomes.
As the town's executioner, Conrad belongs to the so-called "dishonourables" - people forced to live on the fringes of society. Feared. Shunned. Yet indispensable.
Precisely because of this, doors open to him that remain closed to everyone else. He speaks with beggars and patricians, prisoners and priests. He moves between taverns, prison cells and council chambers, following a trail of contradictions and carefully concealed secrets.
Executioner Conrad knows the darkest sides of human nature. But this time, he is facing something darker still.
Someone - or something - is watching him.

Muy buen juego, lo único malo que le encuentro es que es demasiado corto y los puzzles demasiado sencillos, pero esta entretenido para pasar el rato
Really good one of these. It's very short but I'm finding that to be much more of a pro these days. I would have preferred a couple more puzzles or more in depth detective work though, as what there is is fairly straightforward visit-every-scene-and-pick-up-everything type stuff. A note on the AI usage: I feel like this game should be the poster child for not overreacting to AI and throwing the baby out with the bathwater. For a solo dev it makes absolute sense. AAA devs have no excuse when it comes to budget and access to talent, but if it's done right like it is here I have no problem with it. Every scene feels coherent and like it all exists within the same world. Would it have been better with hand made art? Probably. but then this game probably wouldn't have been made, and that would be a shame.

By Fussel1985
Wunderschön gemachtes Adventure, da steckt Liebe drin!
This is a surprisingly excellent and inexpensive P&C Adventure. The story and its gameplay have a very nice flow to it. It has that classic 90s P&C Adventure feel/look minus the frustration. I love the world the Dev(s) created here.. every character feels like an actual...character. It's very nice. I usually don't like too many modern P&C Adventure games. The common problems you'll find is that they're too artsy fartsy.. or you're just sitting there reading text bubbles with boring dialog. The Silver Crow has that beautiful balance of gameplay and story that every P&C Adventure game needs. This game gets it. You'll be reading but you're also going on a fun ride. Very well done. I play some of it here and plan to do a full playthrough on my channel soon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2de5cH9DvSU&t=7086s
Point and Click historique original
Игра короткая, но интересная. Сюжет понятный, логичный, поэтому играется легко.
Wow, I didn't know anything about the game and just bought it because I like old-school pixel art adventures and I was pleasantly surprised! You're Conrad the town executioner and healer and when being called to give an opinion about a strange murder case you start getting the impression that things are not as they may seem. Even though the game plays in medieval times and the main character is the executioner the story itself is far from dark or gruesome, even though it has some darker moments. It balances perfectly between humor and seriousness while maintaining a quite good flow. The puzzles are often not too hard to solve as long as you keep your eyes wide open and listen to the people you're talking to. Not having to stop in progressing too much helped the storytelling and revealing the culprits and backgrounds of the mystical murder case. The soundtrack fits the nostalgic charme and is never annoying or disturbing (except in that one scene where it should be annoying :D). The only missing part that would have made the game even better would have been a voice over, but I know that's quite a steep and costy hill for a small indie dev team. Escpecially when you're offering the game in so many languages. Nevertheless The Silver Crow is a little adventure gem and I hope to see more of that team (maybe even again with Conrad as a character?) rather sooner than later. Info: The developers used a mixed workflow of manual editing and composing the backgrounds that involved the usage of generative AI.
