About
Renowned artist Theobald Breitsam is found dead in his workshop, surrounded by occult symbols and hundreds of black feathers. His body is covered in wounds - but they were made by no blade. They were inflicted by something that should not be possible.
The city council already has a suspect accused of witchcraft and is pressing for a swift verdict before panic spreads.
Conrad is the town's executioner. His duty is to carry out sentences - not to question them.
But something is terribly wrong.
Is it witchcraft? Superstition? Or is there a truth behind these events that defies every rational explanation?
The deeper Conrad digs, the less human this case becomes.
As the town's executioner, Conrad belongs to the so-called "dishonourables" - people forced to live on the fringes of society. Feared. Shunned. Yet indispensable.
Precisely because of this, doors open to him that remain closed to everyone else. He speaks with beggars and patricians, prisoners and priests. He moves between taverns, prison cells and council chambers, following a trail of contradictions and carefully concealed secrets.
Executioner Conrad knows the darkest sides of human nature. But this time, he is facing something darker still.
Someone - or something - is watching him.

A short but enjoyable point-and-click murder mystery For its price, The Silver Crow is definitely worth playing. My first playthrough took around two hours, and I completed it a second time to see whether the story had different outcomes. Unfortunately, it is completely linear, with few surprises or plot twists. The concept and setting are interesting and generally well executed. The lack of voice acting is a little disappointing, but understandable for a small project. Once you know where to go and skip the optional information, the entire game can be completed in about fifteen minutes. Overall, it is an enjoyable experience, but it lacks challenge and deeper storytelling. I hope the developer continues creating games and builds upon these ideas in a sequel or future project.

Good short point'n'click adventure with really good looking backgrounds. I loved playing it.
Short but pleasant adventure, I enjoyed it.
Love this game! Excellent writing, no moon logic puzzles, compelling story.
Literate, grounded and European in the best possible ways, The Silver Crow is an unexpected delight for old school adventurers.
Incredibly beautiful game, from the pixel graphics to the music. Loved the story, even tho it was a bit short and solved quickly towards the end. You can see that the developers put a lot of love into the dialogues and didn’t forget all the point and click typical funny comments when you try hilarious combinations of items. The riddles were tricky but not unsolvable, so that they didn’t disrupt the pacing. I can recommend it to anyone who likes to solve a short story crime story :)
