Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This could have been so much more... I really wanted to love this game. The sound design, the atmosphere, the visuals, and the exploration were all fantastic. I especially enjoyed searching for objects and solving puzzles. For a while, it felt like exactly the kind of experience I was hoping for. Everything changed once the combat and chase sequences with the creatures began. I would have enjoyed this game so much more if it had remained a walking simulator with environmental puzzles instead of forcing action and escape mechanics. The experience is also held back by gameplay issues. There are far too many invisible walls, and the chase sequences are made even worse by the unreliable sprint mechanic. So often the run button seems to get stuck, my character stops mid-sprint, or simply refuses to keep moving, this completely breaks the experience. As a big fan of the Mythos and the Old Ones, I absolutely loved the world and the potential this game had. Beneath the frustrating gameplay is a beautifully crafted atmosphere that could have been something truly special.
Atmospheric, but held back by its mechanics The Shore nails its visual style and Lovecraftian atmosphere. The art direction is well done and creates a genuinely eerie environment that fans of cosmic horror will appreciate. However, the actual gameplay is where it stumbles. The puzzles and combat often feel clunky and frankly frustrating to get through. In my opinion, the game would have functioned much better as a pure walking simulator focused entirely on exploration and atmosphere. Worth a look on a deep sale if you really enjoy the aesthetic, but the clunky mechanics definitely drag the experience down.

Having played quite many games in past, based on that some of these games look more intriguing and scarier on their trailers than the actual gameplay. THE SHORE leaves a feeling that few months of polishing could help the game to reach masses who are into H.P. Lovecraft universe-based storytelling but being a first game from the developer I give it a bit slack. Gameplay is basic and reminds me of quite a lot of Amnesia series. Half of the time thought able to follow specific path, just coming to realize it being and dead end or just random stack of rocks. Maybe the Necrophosis will show me the evolution of the developers’ skills.
Final score: 7/10
Jogo bom!
Visually stunning in some areas. The character seems somewhat lacking in commenting on what is happening around them. Sometimes he exclaims robustly other times dead silence. Had to give up in the area where Shagtanagotha appears. I can see where my character has to go but getting hit multiple times ends my character, granted the creature can be stunned but its about a second of stun and my 70 year old reflexes can't keep up with that. Otherwise its worth purchasing for the graphical style.
