Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After many years of living the hectic city life, you finally decide to leave everything behind to buy your first lot of land in the country and start a new life, in the quiet, close to nature. However, your skills as a farmer will be put to the test to make your ranch a flourishing business and earn the villagers' respect and esteem.
Take care of animals, grow crops, claim resources, buy new lots of land, and much more. You'll have plenty of space to create the ranch of your dreams.
The Ranchers is for you if you:
Are looking for a farming simulator with sandbox freedom to play your way.
You want a cozy space to unwind, but with enough action to keep things exciting.
Love farm simulator games.
Appreciate a big open world waiting to be explored.
Want to build alone or invite up to three friends to help out.
Find joy in the creative freedom of base-building and home decoration.
Fancy the charm of indie games built on passion.
Grab your trusty hammer and head over to your workbench! Gather basic resources and turn them into useful items such as fences, sprinklers, greenhouses, and much more. Transform your humble home into a thriving ranch!
Managing a ranch can be expensive. Optimize your Ranch's resource consumption, sign water, electricity contracts, or build your water wells, wind turbines, and solar panels and sell your surplus to the village.
A well-tended ranch will produce the high quality crops you need to catch the attention of the villagers, fulfill daily orders, and sell your goods at the local markets for a decent profit to keep things running smoothly.
It wouldn't be a proper ranch without animals! Build barns and coops of all sizes, and invite little (and big) friends to join you. From chickens and bunnies to goats and cows, you can pick your favorites or try to collect at least one of each.
Whether on foot, by bike, in a pickup truck, or in a fancy sports car, there is so much to explore. From markets and fashion boutiques to car dealerships, parks, or even a casino, it’s all waiting for you. But be mindful of the clock! Just like in real life, The Ranchers features both shifting seasons and a daily cycle, meaning you’ll need to plan your errands carefully while the stores are open.
A simple studio-apartment or a multi-story house? It's really up to you. Build your home from scratch and decorate it as you please. Rancher, home builder AND designer? Not too shabby.
Invite up to 3 friends to visit your ranch and enjoy country life together! Farm, build, raise animals, explore the open world, and help each other grow.
Each player has their own ranch and world progression. When you join a friend, you are visiting the host’s world, so ranch and quest progression remain tied to the host’s save.
However, playing as a guest still rewards your own progression: you earn money and Skill Points (XP), and you can bring any items and blueprints in your inventory back to your own ranch.
Play entirely solo, open your ranch to friends, or visit theirs whenever they’re online.
Are you a good citizen or living on the edge? In The Ranchers, actions can have consequences. Destroying, stealing or reckless driving may fall under the police’s radar, so be careful - or simply enjoy the rush of an action-packed getaway!
And once again - remember to join our incredible community on Discord.

I really like the concept of the game. However, there's still room for improvement since it's still in early access. The vehicles are hard to drive, and I hope there will be an option to manually save, since the progress is mostly auto-saved.
Game is fun so far. Much to see and discover. I look forward to the coming updates.

This game has a lot of potential! That being said, it is still an early access game, so you have to expect some bugs. But here's my review that no one asked for; 1) Plays really well on Steam Deck. I've had 0 issues with anything related to it being on the deck, which I love! There is some QOL things I'd like to see, as far as switching what item you have equipped without having to open your backpack. But hopefully thats coming... 2) Driving isn't all that great in this game. GTA taught me to drive recklessly and this has me going around like I'm driving Mrs. Daisy. There is a fuel system though, that is kinda cool, and fairly cheap. And the mechanics shop is fairly cheap to fix up the starter car. Which brings me to... 3) All I can access is the starter car. I've hacked a few parked cars, but they dont budge, unlike my wanted level. And none of the ones on the road will let me enter, even if they're stopped. In a future update I hope we can get access to these options. 4) The world seems a decent size. You definitely have some space to cruise around a bit. But it's not TOO big. I travel on foot to town sometimes just to save on cheap gas. That's all I got for now. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this game, and where its headed. I hope the devs fix some QOL stuff I think that would draw more people in.
Right now, I can't recommend the game. I've watched videos and trailers that were really old, and they showed things that aren't even in the game yet. Given that it’s version 0.8xxx and we’re in the 6-month early access phase, you’d think there’d be quite a lot in the game already. But all the advanced content—like having kids, fishing, and hunting—just isn’t there yet. No mines or combat system. You can only buy the necessary ores at exorbitant prices. Building takes some getting used to, and it’s easy to click in the wrong spot. The selling and crafting menus, with their side-scrolling, also take some getting used to. Animals—at least the chickens—are still buggy (they disappear). There are only 3 seeds per season. Pros: The city looks good. You can drive around in cars, which is cool, though the car controls feel a bit weird. The characters are all very well-designed. The graphics are okay, too. I’m at 11 hours and can say I’ve basically seen everything. Sure, you could keep building, but resources are limited on the farm, and after that, you have to buy everything. I don’t recommend it right now; I suggest waiting and seeing how often patches are released.
Absolutely love this game! So glad I got the Alpha Rancher packer on Kickstarter and have been lucky enough to experience the way this game has evolved. Time flies by while playing and there are so many things that I love. The cycle of the seasons / the different crops you can plant during them is very immersive and it's really cool that you can automate your farm with things such as sprinklers and water production. You are able to have chicken coops, keep cows, and have greenhouses as well. I am in love with the building aspect of the game as well. I do have to say it is buggy / glitchy in this state but the devs are on top of patching these sort of things. I have a great time building my house up and look forward to building stuff like garages / guest houses. There is SO MUCH that will be added to the game and I appreciate the road map they have. I cant even describe all the other things that you can do in this release but I am always occupied and having a ton of fun. Shoutout to the owner / staff for their transparency and always answering questions on discord <3
Combine cops and farming so weird genius, NOT RECOMMENDED
At this point in its development, I would say to wait on this game until they have resolved a number of issues. Keep an eye on it though, there is potential for this game down the road.
The Ranchers is a really fun and cozy farming game. I love the graphics, the village, and the missions. It feels fresh compared to other farming games. There are still quite a few bugs and missing content since it's Early Access, but the devs are updating it often. If you like relaxing farm games, it's definitely worth trying!
Simply not ready for early access. when placing my bed. it attempts to place it either inside of me, on the roof or in the garden. placing in the building is almost impossible unless finding the correct angle. for some reason mouse movement is completely irrelevant. SOO MANY SHOPS!....Sorry, so many of the same shop.......vending machines not currently available. Flying NPC's has got to be a win right ? Its simple. Its not ready. In development since 2016. ETA 2036. Please watch extensive footage before buying BE VERY CAUTIOUS AS IT TAKES ROUGHLY 2 HOURS (YOUR REFUND WINDOW) TO START EXPERIENCING THE MORE SIGNIFICANT ISSUES.
Great game with so much to do. Yes there are a few quirky issues nothing major. Been playing on my steam deck and it's been great. To be honest having a real blast. The Devs are very active and communication has been fantastic. It's a shame to see some under 1 hour negative reviews i personally think they are missing out on a great game and to be honest the game will just get better and better. Anywhooooo i have tomorrow off so I can sink a few more hours into this little gem😁
