Fears to Fathom - Woodbury Getaway

I think the developer is not fully sure what made Fears to Fathom so special and outstanding in the first place. In the previous episodes, the suspense was built much better through small unsettling events, strange details, and even simple dialogues. These little moments made the player feel that something was wrong, and that slow tension made the scares more effective. In this episode, however, that suspense is mostly missing. The game relies too much on random jump scares that feel aimless. Instead of creating fear through atmosphere and small disturbing moments, it often feels like the game is just trying to shock the player without proper buildup. Quiet scenes do not create the same sense of danger and overall, this episode feels like a step down for the series. It has a few scary moments, but they are not as meaningful or well-earned as before.

This is by far the weakest of these games. No suspense, no scares and jumpscares failed to spook you. The only sweats to get is to know which room to run to upstairs after running away from the phrogger. And this game series in general gave me misophonia. Why the ♥♥♥♥ were they eating even more in this one? Deadass listening to some mukbang ASMR I never asked for. That's the real horror.

FEARS TO FATHOM - WOODBURY GETAWAY - EPS 5 SYDENY... ahhh this was a very good story; it was just slightly annoying to really try for those achievements xD BUT hey we did so; other then fishing for an extra bit or making sure we didnt die that was another decent story. good horror energy; and now played all their game's I am super keen on whatever they'll do next praying for some more co-op but the solo games are also great 8) deffs recommend the series, run through those games, build up that horror tolerance I shall await for whatevers next, tho I need to go back to scratch and 100% with thy fav

This episode blew me away when it released, it is definitely my favourite episode and I think it always will be. Interacting with Mike is hilarious, the plot twist near the end was so well incorporated into the game and I think you have finally reached the most comfortable length for F2F games to be! I have no doubt that the co-op games will be just as great.

Наверное это один из моих любимых эпизодов. Понравилась атмосфера в игре и сама история. Еще один большой плюс-это наличие русской локализации. Из минусов: Местами кривая русская локализация, и отсутствия Петуса в этой части. 10/10
