(* This game is not recommended for anyone with a peanut allergy)
But hey, not down with anxiety? All of the points above can be completely skipped as you plow your way through another tight platformer with killer mechanics (meaning you can kill basically anything that moves), a banging chiptune soundtrack from the legendary Dunderpatrullen, and more pixel art than you can possibly stomach!

What is this?
This is a prototype of a game we originally created back in 2020, also known as the best year ever. We decided back then to not make this game but now we’re back more broke and desperate than ever and we’re ready to make this thing a reality. To make sure this game will be a success, we asked three friends of ours and at least one of them was very excited, one didn’t reply and one said we should get real jobs instead and stop calling him.
Is this a procedurally generated metroidvania?
Honesty is very important to us and when we're writing this we're not sure exactly what procedurally generated means. But what we've done is that we have a huge amount of different made rooms and each session they randomly appear so every turn is different!

Overall. I find it super fun and stimulating. It is reminiscent of the classic Megaman games and the sprites are just as good. The soundtracks were spot-on too, headphones is a must while playing. As a metroidvania fan I love that the the humor is playing a huge part in the storytelling. I think that adds a unique value and personality to the game as one play it.
The game has great control. Rather moderate in pace, and you can maneuver even while mid air. Fluid and colorful pixel graphics. The music has that distinct 16-bit tone that old players can definitely enjoy. The gameplay is rather tedious and frustrating, given that your character can only be hit twice. It is a trial and error game but you have unlimited tries. It exercises your patience and strategy. The story is rather confusing without more context but you can learn about your character as you reach certain points.
It's a test of patience and can be quite frustrating at times but it's also quite satisfying going from room to room. Story is weird but keeps me curious as to what's next.
A game that sounds like it's absolutely taking the piss, but is actually a very enjoyable microvania in its own right. Very heavily platforming focused so if that's not your thing maybe give this a miss, but other than that you'll enjoy this. Even with the price I think it's more than justified for the well-paced enjoyable experience this provides. I highly enjoyed my time with this. Also btw don't worry too much about what they write about procedural generation. If I didn't know about it I would never have thought it existing, it's so much not a big deal.
it was a bit hard to grasp initial controls (but maybe because i haven't played a lot of metroidvania games, but once you get used to it, it's a fun nice play with challenging rooms, fun graphics, and funny, cheeky dialogue!
Decently addictive and challenging once you get a rhythm. Personally had hiccups when there was no prompt to the buttons/keys to use when starting out or when you obtain the gun. For the length of the game, I'm not too sure if I'd recommend anyone getting it full price. Felt like hats around the map are obsolete since you can just get killed in a room and respawn with the hat back on for an extra hit point. The game overall was okay, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for little metroidvania-lite to try out. Artstyle is nice too.
The game is quite challenging in the beginning but you'll get to understand the pattern and mechanics of the game along the way.
A fresh 2D retro pixel-game that give challenging gameplay on each map. I have been enjoy playing it so far!
I've played past an hour and didn't expect I'd actually get addicted to moving through the levels. I'm not particularly fond of Metroidvania games but it was a fun experience. I would say the direction and progression were clear and it takes a level of patience and dedication to moving to a new stage. I like that the tutorial didn't hand hold too much and as a player you were given enough agency to try and fail as you please. The narrative was pretty snarky and hilarious that was still relatable to non video game developers. Overall, it was quite engaging and really encouraged me to want to progress further. Too bad I don't have the grit like others do.
This game slaps hard, love the art and visuals as well as the sound! Def gonna grind for the achievements!
