The Price of Freedom

OMG .... first of all it's short.... but this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and in VR it felt soooo REAL wtf... just buy it and get blown. If you ever want to feel like you did somthing right but its so wrong get it. You truly pay the price of freedom in here.

The game wants to convey a desperate irresistible command. Although the player feels not so profound, as a small game of only 20 minutes, it can be very interesting to bring such a reversed plot. Well worth the experience.

This is something between a puzzle room and a cinematic experience. Unfortunately it doesn't really feel like it does either very well. The puzzles generally just involve finding a hidden object and the story feels really heavy handed. There are a few moments when the game sounds like it is giving you a moral choice about what to do next, but if you don't follow the intended path then the game just stops until you make the choice it wants (at one point you can literally just stand in a burning room whilst the game waits for you to take an action). On top of that, the game is also incredibly short so the reveal at the end feels completely unearned. If this had been free then I could excuse a lot of these things, but it's not and unfortunately a lot of the other free tech demos or games out there are better than this is.

It would be a nice little game but if you dont have open free space its not enjoyable. I had to keep recentering my headset so it would turn the room where I needed. Aside from the technical issues, the game is more of a slightly interactive short story than a game. Was a good tech demo I suppose.

Nice pacing and suspense. Love the story and how the interaction unfolds the narrative.

It's best to go in knowing nothing about it, great story. Took me about 20 minutes & its well worth the low price.

I don't call it amazing but it's free, good VR starter.
