Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

it's messy. you can be in a persuit, and suddenly focus on a guy doing a graffity. the story is super bland. The map is small. Not interesting at all.

JUEGAZO ESPECTACULAR
my biggest problem is that the crimes you charge people with is sometimes a coin toss. example you order someone to step out of their vehicle and they run it is 50/50 whether it counts as assault even though they didn't try to attack you and it might not even count as evading arrest. like wtf? that is the definition of evading arrest?? on the other side an npc attacking you without running away is 50/50 whether it counts as evading arrest i searched a suspect he had brass knuckles, i try to arrest him, he pulls out an assault rifle and pushes me then kills me before i can move again. if criminals can kill you when you try to arrest them make a mechanic that i can use so that i can avoid that?!?!? police npc ai is fairly bad. they get in the way during shootouts and will try to ram you more so than ramming the suspect during vehicle chases. other than that the game is pretty fun
The Precinct ended up being a pleasant surprise for me. I normally don't care much for this style of game. The old top-down GTA games never really clicked with me, and even games like American Fugitive didn't hold my attention for very long. But somehow, The Precinct just feels different. Everything feels natural. The controls are easy to pick up, and the vehicles are genuinely fun to drive. Nothing feels awkward or frustrating, which made it easy to settle into the game's rhythm. One thing I really enjoy is the fact that you're playing a cop instead of a criminal. As much as I enjoy open-world crime sagas, sometimes it's nice to protect and serve instead. The game gives you plenty of ways to do that too. You can walk the beat, handle traffic violations, patrol the streets at night, fly the helicopter, and even drive a tow truck. There's a lot of variety in the jobs you're given. Is it realistic? I honestly don't know! I'm not a cop! But it feels believable, and for an entertainment game, I think that's what matters most. It feels authentic enough, and more importantly, it's fun. The graphics are surprisingly good as well. The city really comes alive at night, and that's when the game shines the brightest. Night patrols ended up being my favorite shifts just because Averno City looks so good after dark. If you're looking for a fun and unique twist on the classic top-down open-world formula, The Precinct is definitely worth checking out.
this game is really good can play this for hours and hours well worth it and the updates after updates now you can use k9 lol, for a small company of 4 ish people the detail is really good reminds me of og gta style god im old. keep it up guys
How the ♥♥♥♥ arcade street racing in this game is more fun in terms of difficulty balance, tracks, and car physics than any dedicated racing game I played in years? Overall this game is a mix of sandbox high action GTA-like fun and a routine of law enforcement simulation. I really love this balance. At 15 hours in you really start to ask yourself 'Do I really need to go and harass this guy for bombing this wall? Do I really want to go through all the motions just to give them a fine? Am I a bad guy if I do or if I don't?' So it really makes you feel like (batman) a cop.
