probably the best bird in gaming
really fun open world exploration game with awesome movement and surprisingly really compelling boss design.
Yes, the graphics are nice, and the soundtrack is quite good, but the gameplay isn't. 95% of the time you run around and collect items, solving puzzles along the way. Those puzzles all follow the same pattern and are all quite easy. All in all, no real feeling of achievement. The other 5% are combat against the area bosses. Not impressed, got bored very quickly.
Great game probably the best Giant Squid has released. Really nice open world. Interesting boss fights. Also the graphics are nice. The soundtracks are peak.
very complete and fun! one of those games that you want to 100%!
Una experiencia realmente sensacional!
Style, flair, speed, cool vibes...This game has it all and with cool fall themed colors. Highly recommend!
TL;DR: The game is a fun open world experience with beautiful environments and simple yet fun bosses, but it is a short experience and is better purchased when on a good sale. So I have played this game on Playstation on PS Plus before, and I thought the game was a really fun, and beautifully crafted experience. Now that I have it again on PC, I feel like that opinion is the same, save for a few small nitpicks I will say with full certainty, the world of this game is crafted so beautifully that you can't help but look around to just take it all in. The art directors 100% know what they're doing and they've done it well with this game. Gameplay in exploration and combat is simple, but engaging enough that you won't be bored, especially with the fast movement the game implements in the open world. Only real complaint is in exploration. Exploration is by no means difficult, the mechanic to show you where different tasks are gives you enough of an idea what to do or where to go is very useful, even if it can become something relied on too much, with no other way to locate or track objectives. And for those looking at achievements, there's no real way to track that stuff, so there's no telling if you would need to backtrack for an achievement, let alone how far back. Besides that, I'd recommend this game on a nice discount, even if it's just 50%. The game is a short experience story wise and completion wise could be done within 8-10 hours, so your time won't be too held up for a game with a hefty price tag as such. But if you can get the chance to try the game, I believe you will enjoy the experience it offers
BROKEN ON RTX 50-SERIES WITH NVIDIA 610-SERIES DRIVERS Not recommended until this compatibility issue is fixed. On an RTX 50-series GPU, The Pathless crashes or fails to launch when using NVIDIA’s 610-series driver branch. The temporary solutions are to roll back the entire PC to an older 500-series driver, such as 591.86, or use an unofficial workaround like DXVK. This is not isolated to one game. Similar 610-series driver problems also affect A Plague Tale: Innocence and Life is Strange: Reunion, which crashes when using Max’s rewind ability. Players should not have to repeatedly downgrade their system-wide graphics driver or install third-party wrappers to play games they purchased. DualSense Edge support is also missing. The controller is not recognized natively, despite the game supporting the standard DualSense and its special features. Steam Input provides only basic translated controls, while DSX is required to emulate a standard DualSense. Please work with NVIDIA and release a proper compatibility update. I will revise this review when these issues are fixed.
