About
The Outer Worlds 2 is the eagerly-awaited sequel to the award-winning first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment (just look at the exciting number of dashes in this sentence!). Time to clear your calendar – get ready for an action-packed adventure with a new crew, new weapons, and new enemies in a new colony! So much newness!
As a daring and most likely good-looking Earth Directorate agent, you must uncover the source of devastating rifts threatening to destroy all of humanity. Your investigation leads to Arcadia, home of skip drive technology, where the fate of the colony, and ultimately the entire galaxy, rests on your decisions—your strengths, your flaws, your crew, and the factions you choose to trust.
The Arcadia colony is engulfed in a factional war, as the Protectorate’s so-called benevolent rule is challenged by the rebellion of their religious order and a corporate invasion. As destructive rifts spread across the colony, each faction fights to control or close them for their own ends. Navigate diverse zones, uncover hidden lore, and shape the fate of a system on the brink!
Build your character with the abilities and choices that reflect your playstyle. The colony reacts to your every move, crafting a narrative that’s yours to own—whether you’re a disciple of diplomacy, an astute strategist, a crusader for chaos, or something different altogether. And yes, you can dumb!
Recruit companions with unique traits, backgrounds and goals. Whether you choose to help them achieve their ambitions or steer them toward your own objectives, your influence shapes their growth (or death), making them an integral part of the immersive story you create together.

Honestly I had fun with this game.. but it was not what I was expecting. They really tried to heavily imply that this was there "new vegas" moment. Haha!! Not even close. There's allot to love about the combat, progression, world building and some way better exploration. What bothered the ♥♥♥♥ out of me.. is even after a decent amount of people complaining about enemies not respawning and the world feeling empty after clearing areas.. they doubled down on this decision. This was a terrible decision and made it absolutely useless to even want to go back to previous areas to just go clear some camps for fun. Example, just got a bad ass new gun and want to go to a specific map because there are some really good sniping opportunities.. too damn bad!! You can't! No one will be there to snipe! Hope you find it in another location bud. This really bugged me. Games great but this really put a damper on on the experience for me. 7.4 rating on the game for me. Honestly I can not recommend this game due to the price.. was not worth 70
Better than the first in almost every way. The only way I can say it's not better is that it takes itself more seriously as a dystopian future than the original did as a (still dystopian) tongue-in-cheek retro-future and that's not for everyone; I loved it though. Outstanding gunplay, great writing, great atmosphere. By the damn game
Sollch ein fantastisches Update, vielen herzlichen Dank an Euch!!!
clever and entertaining
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
I really enjoyed playing this game. If you liked the first game, then this should be a good pick for you. The perk system is pretty nice. You really get the ability to play the game how you want to play, which is fantastic. Yes, there are some bugs and it is not a game you play for a deep plot or great difficulty. So, you may want to get it when on sale if those make you hesitate.
Garbage. I bought this game for full price and it is definitely not worth it. Maybe it's worth playing if you get it for free.
Enjoying so far, thought it was going to be short then several more planets opened up
good
