I enjoyed the original Oregon Trail game as a child and this very updated version is so fun. I'm a completionist so I like being able to see the percentage of the game that I've made it through. I like the fishing minigame and all of the journey options.

👍 Highly Recommended I have been having a blast with *The Oregon Trail*. The game does a great job of blending classic Oregon Trail gameplay with modern mechanics, beautiful pixel art, and a surprising amount of replayability. One of my favorite features is building a party. Every profession brings unique bonuses, and the random traits make each journey feel different. Choosing who specializes in Medical, Shooting, Carpentry, and Wayfinding adds a nice layer of strategy, especially on the harder difficulties. The random events, riddles, hunting, fishing, camping, cooking, and character interactions keep every trip interesting. Even after dozens of runs, I was still discovering new encounters and unlocking new achievements. The higher difficulties can be challenging, and that's part of the fun if you enjoy planning and optimizing your team. The only thing I would change is adding a party reroll option during character selection. Sometimes the three available characters all roll poor traits, leaving you with no choice but to completely restart the run just to generate a new selection. It would be great if there were a simple "Reroll" button that refreshed the three available characters. Once you select a character, that decision is locked in, but being able to reroll the current selection would eliminate unnecessary restarting while keeping the challenge exactly the same. Overall, this is a fantastic modern take on a classic game. Whether you're here for the nostalgia or you're completely new to *The Oregon Trail*, there's a lot of content to enjoy. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

easy eight or above out of ten. love the game so far. minor hiccups that need to be addressed but seriously. *♥♥♥♥* you guys for the little mary storyline

I bought this on sale for the lulz and I'm honestly surprised at how fun & addicting it is. Every time I complete a journey I want to start the next one right away so I can apply what I learned on my last trip!

fantastic game i loved with every iteration from my childhood, and wonderfully updates the mechanics and indigenous representation for the modern area in a lovely pixel art style, relaxing music and with good humor. easy to play, hard to master, and satisfying to achievement hunt <3

Soooo i accidentally played this for 7 straight hours. I lost my Patty along the way </3 my ace but she will not be forgotten :< The game is actually sooo intresting and I didnt feel like I had to rush with my choices.
