The Mermaid Mask

A YouTuber I frequently watch played the studios first two games and I fell in love, so I was excited as I heard a third one was planned and was determined to play it myself. I. LOVED. IT! There's so much love poured into this project, the story, the characters, the clues, the puzzles. Everything is done with love in this game. Play it. Please. It's so worth it.

Спасибо за игру! Тот случай, когда разработчик любит свое дело, а не только деньги :) Игру ждала после прохождения Tangle Tower год назад. Как по мне, тут идеально сочетается анимация (как будто читаешь новеллу) и головоломки. И учитывая, что я их прошла без доп. подсказок, их сложность вполне адекватна. Отдельная благодарность за русский перевод (до последнего думала, что его не будет)! Проходить детективы на иностранном языке труднее, чем кажется: значения слов и выражений могут быть совершенно разные на английском (тем более, если дело касается длинных текстов, страниц со статьями из газет...), а это очень влияет на сопоставление фактов и понимания в целом ситуации.

This is one of my new favorite games, all the puzzles are super well thought out and the art and music are beautiful. If you enjoy puzzle games or a good murder mystery you have to play this game!

Spent the whole day yesterday playing this, it was worth the wait! :D The visuals and the animations are amazing, and the soundtrack was perfect for the vibe of this game, and UI for talking with the suspects was greatly improved from last game, and I loved the puzzles too, nicely challenging with a fair hint system to go along with it and still leaving me feeling satisfied when I solved them. The story especially was great with many twists, and it all came together with everything making sense at the end! 10/10, would recommend for everyone, especially those who crave Professor Layton style puzzles.

Another great point n click locked room murder mystery! Thoughtful dialog on every item you could want to click, kinda makes up for the fact you will probably have to click on everything and everyone and get everyone's opinion of everything and everyone. The game is very engrossing though, I was very excited to play it all the way through as soon as it came out.

Definitely the best game in the series! There was a very interesting plot circulating around the main mystery, such fun and deceptive characters. The music was killer and the writing great. Huge fan. 11/10. Great voice acting, fun and colorful design, easy to follow point and click, more plot than puzzles.

One of the best detective games I've ever played. Fixed nearly every issue I had with Tangle Tower and even made me feel slightly better about some of the decisions Tangle Tower made itself. Absolutely blown away.

Absolutely amazing game. So much fun and the artwork was out of this world.
