A thoughtful and deeply personal title with stripped-down mechanics. The lack of dialogue or text allows you to create your own narrative through your time with four characters. Each short story will allow players to be swept away by the haunting lyrics of over twenty original, nostalgic songs.
THIS GAME IS NOT FOR ME... BUUUT:
I am not the target audience for this game, but I cannot in good faith give this game a bad review. This game is beautiful, even within the span of the 20 mins I played I can tell this game is art. The music is beautiful, the character design is wonderful, the story (or rather lack thereof) is wonderful, and its clear that this game was made for pure artistic expression rather than gameplay value. ( 7/10 ) again not for me, but I still love it!
Sinopsis

This should've been an indie animation video, not a video game.
really more of an experience than what one typically thinks of as a game, as such (and short at 107 minutes). but certainly an enjoyable experience, for me. i felt things. more than worth the 2.50 i paid for it. one tiny nitpick, there was a spot that didn't seem to indicate that i needed to do something and it took me a couple minutes to figure it out. but there's always that beautiful soundtrack to get lost in, even if you get momentarily lost as to what to do. worked well on my steam deck.
Bana biraz Life is Strange'ın şarkılarını hatırlattı ama bunları daha bile kaliteli buldum. "What if I am scared? I'm just human."
More like an interactive music video, but a genuinely moving experience. Great soundtrack and a condensed set of simple yet resonating images and themes. Overwhelming weight of everyday life, captured in a slightly melancholic and blurred way.
At this point im convinced that the Brainwash Gang wanted to make movies/animation, not games. But making movies is expensive and they settled for gamedev. Their visuals and music are great, gameplay is boring or tedious. Longest Road on Earth plays exactly as the name sounds - long holding of Left/Right, spamming space (sometimes even holding space!), that's it. The most exciting part about the game was cool 3d looking animations of a fridge opening, 10 dollar bill, ROTATED BUILDING, CAR and flying birds. Instead of playing the game, just buy the soundtrack. Music is by far the best part of the game.
This is.............tough to review. Look, what if I told you that there was a piece of media designed to convey the tedium/monotony of the daily grind, from a variety of perspectives. In order for it to be successful, it would have to illustrate how boring and soul-crushing some of the routines of life can be. The problem is (naturally!) that that means the game itself must be pretty damned tedious itself. Which isn't fun. At all! So, the positives are the graphics; truly next level pixel-based graphics. Really good stuff! The negatives are the absolutely tedious gameplay, bogging you down doing banal, unskippable things like sitting on a bus/subway and watching the walls of the tunnels etc, fly past you......for several bloody minutes! And it's unskippable. And it's made worse by (completely subjective opinion coming up) some absolutely atrocious folk/pop music that likewise cannot be skipped, just fingernails on the blackboard level of misery made into musical format. The sort of barely present, breathy, whispery almost not real singing singing, like open mic night at some hipster coffee shop where the local waitress thinks she's got talent and Marilyn Monroe "Happy Birthday" style breathes fifteen or sixteen "tunes" while plinking away at her acoustic guitar, and you try to decide if it would just be simpler to top yourself rather than listen to another minute of her "singing" and pretentiously pseudo-intellectual wankfest lyrics. Can you tell I didn't care for the music that accompanies the mind-numbingly boring gameplay?!?! So, yeah, subjective it may be, but I struggled to finish this "game". Totally not recommended, but as always, YMMV.
Even with little to no gameplay, the story is worth to play for <3
