The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak

Хорошая игра по отношению к Cold Steel'ам. Правда боёвка мне больше нравится в колд стилах, чем тут. Но зато герои интереснее, более взрослые (не считая Фери [spoiler] Ох, как же глупо выглядят нападки на её возраст, когда заходит речь о фильмах с рейтингом 17+ или убийствах. Она же, блин, йегерь. Она же убивала людей до прихода к Вану, нет? [/spoiler]). В целом сюжетка понравилась, но довольно долго разгонялась, как мне показалось. Примерно с 4 главы меня наконец затянуло с головой и я играл несколько дней не вылезая. Очень понравился последний 4SPG с [spoiler]благодарностями всех, кому мы помогали в игре[/spoiler]. Игру немного разбавили юмором в стиле подколок Тио из арки Кросбелла, за это спасибо. Хоть и не все шутки так хороши, но были неплохие. Продолжаю играть в серию дальше, до актуала осталось всего 2 игры. Жаль, что сундуки больше не разговаривают((

Another chapter of the trails series starts with an (as usual) great game, well worth it

Daybreak 1 was an interesting new-ish take on the Trails series. It changes up the combat pretty drastically while maintaining a good amount of the features you've come to expect from Trails. The music as always is charming, and the voice acting (with the exception of one legacy character) is some of the best in the series. The new setting is cozy, the new cast of characters are mostly enjoyable, however it does retread a lot of the same ground from the Cold Steel series at least narratively, which disappointed me by the end. I've heard very mixed things about Daybreak 2, so I'm not sure how that might impact my feelings on Daybreak 1, but it's still a solid entry in the series, and if you've come this far you're probably in for the long run with the Trails games like me. 6.75/10

its addicting this game fun

The start of a new saga, and it couldn't come soon enough. After five Erebonia games, the Trails series really, really needed a breath of fresh air. This feels like a (very much) needed update to the series, bringing the engine, systems and game feel in general to more modern standards, even if it means a lot of steps back were also needed. A new setting, a new group of characters, many new systems - including a more complex orbement system that does a lot to fix some problems of the Cold Steel systems while also, unfortunately, killing many of its strengths. - and even a new tone for more than a few things, dealing both with a more varied setting, some real world problems, and gray areas. This is very much a new start for the series, with a couple hiccups, but still very strong and promising.
