I didn’t expect to get this hooked on the story. What started as a lighthearted and even funny journey quickly spiraled into something much darker—and I’m still reeling from it. I can’t even properly put into words how I feel. I’m sitting here installing Cold Steel IV in complete shock, trying to process what just happened. COMBAT – 10/10 The Order System is a game-changer—it's ridiculously good and makes battles feel dynamic and strategic. The "cheese potential" is high, but in the best way. The biggest upgrade, though, is the Break System. Once you figure it out, bosses go down easily (depending on the difficulty). Plus, the revamped interface was much needed and feels smoother and more modern. STORY – 10/10 My brain is still broken from what I’ve seen. The narrative is fantastic. No spoilers, but let’s just say seeing Rean as a teacher was way more emotional and impactful than I thought it’d be. The pacing, character development, and unexpected twists all hit hard. GAMEPLAY – 9/10 The core gameplay doesn’t stray too far from Cold Steel I & II, but there are solid improvements. The controls are tighter, enemy encounters feel more refined, and Turbo Mode makes everything flow better. It’s a comfortable but enhanced experience. DIFFICULTY – 7/10 With the new Order and Break systems, the game leans a little on the easy side—especially if you like optimizing your party. But honestly? No complaints here. It made combat fun without being a chore. OVERALL – 9/10 I had an absolute blast with Trails of Cold Steel III. It’s easily better than I & II in many ways—but my heart still belongs to Trails in the Sky and SC. Still, this was an unforgettable ride, and I can’t wait (and I’m kind of scared) to dive into Cold Steel IV.

Still missed some chests for some baffling reasons.
I did not expect that to happen...
