Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Aug 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

In a desperate move to end all wars that have been rampaging the world for decades, the mages provoked The Cataclysm. Massive balls of pure magic obliterated nearly everything. A strange purple mist propagated everywhere, with hordes of bloodthirsty mutants coming at night.
Our only hope is now to banish all magic from this accursed world by casting The Last Spell, requiring several days of uninterrupted incantation whilst a few strained Heroes try to protect those damned mages.

The Last Spell is a tactical RPG with roguelite elements in which you have to defend a city against hordes of deadly enemies.
During daytime, prepare your Heroes, carefully choose how to rebuild your Haven and position your defenses. Over the night, exterminate all the monsters coming at your walls with a large range of weapons and skills. Then heal, level up, and repeat until the Magic Seal is broken.

Turn-Based Tactical RPG:
● The whole RPG package: a flurry of stats, skills, perks, traits… and more.
● Tons of items: armors, weapons, trinkets and potions… with their own stats and skills, as well as optional random modifiers. Each weapon has its own skillset and playstyle!
● Build your own classes: upgrade your heroes with stat bonuses and perks, and equip whatever gear you wish. Want to make a glass cannon rogue/mage fighting with a gun? Do it!
● Manage your squad of heroes: they’re strong, but they are few and have access to limited resources. Healing and mana are scarce, so try to find a good balance.
Hordes of Evil:
● Think and adapt: you will face swarms of deadly enemies with only a few hardened heroes. Optimize your positioning and plan your actions: big AOE attacks, crowd control, buffs, poison... Every Action Point counts towards another day of survival.
● Enemies have strengths and weaknesses that will challenge your wits. And because hard is not enough for us, be prepared for the terrifying Elites!
● Each map will end with epic fights against unique mind-bending bosses.
Protect the Haven:
● Rebuild the city to help you in-between fights. Get healed, forge new magical weapons, get new heroes. Spend your resources wisely, commander!
● Build up your defenses: walls, traps, towers, catapults… every tiny bit of help is welcome.
● Protect the Magic Circle at all costs! If you lose it, humanity is doomed.
● 5 Havens to protect, each with their own setup and challenges requiring you to tailor your strategy to beat the Great Evil.
Roguelite Elements:
● The game is meant to be hard. You will fail… A lot. But every time you do, you’ll grow harder, better, faster, stronger!
● Procedurally generated enemy waves, characters, weapons and a ton of unlockables will keep you entertained until the real world collapses.
● Tailor each run thanks to the Omens: a limited amount of bonuses that can be picked for the upcoming run. Do you prefer more Action Points, more characters, sturdier defenses, better loot? Experiment to find your preferred tools of destruction.
● Scale the difficulty to your liking, with 6 levels of Apocalypse to entertain even the most hardcore players.
Headbanger Soundtrack:
● Over 25 tracks of thunderous synths-driven progressive metal to guide you through this joyous slaughterfest
● Composed by the incredible Rémi - The Algorithm - Gallégo

Just 30 mins into the tutorial, and I already wanted to quit. I've played many turn-based tactics games, but this one seemed incredibly slow to get to the point. I was sitting there just clicking on endless enemies to try to kill them and it didn't matter what I did, as long as I kept clicking. That's not fun to me, that's a chore. It might be a good game, but I don't have the time for this kind of repetitiveness or to find out. If I want something classically turn-based maybe I'll fire up Final Fantasy Tactics again. Refunded.

I was originally gonna wait until I had beaten the entire game to leave a review, but it's so good I just couldn't help myself. So essentially, it's a cross between Fire Emblem, Darkest Dungeon and tower defense games if you want the brief overview. You control a group of heroes fighting hordes of undead and defending a town for several nights. Everything about it is top-notch - the progression, the music, the visuals, the overall gameplay... It's pretty difficult and can feel repetitive at times, but nowhere near as much as I've felt with other roguelites. As a whole, I vastly recommend it.
Runs are long, but you absolutely don't feel it. Gameplay, music, graphics... everything is top-notch. One problem I have is that, sometimes in the ost there seem to be sounds similar to what my cat makes, and it made me think something happened to my cat a couple of times, so I had to check on her.
The game definitely has its good points, but I'll be discussing the negatives. For one, I was hoping this would be a strategy game, but after a certain amount of maps (I think it was two), you're railroaded into whatever random weapon they decide to give you for each character. Many of the weapons just aren't that good, and in order to use what you actually want, you have to rely on RNG in hopes that it will appear of the dozens of weapons, and wasting time and resources to purchase that weapon if it actually does show up. Why not just allow us to choose? Another issue I have is an issue I have with a lot of games like this; the RNG on accuracy. It is extremely frustrating to miss shots, especially missing 4 in a row. Unfortunately, it's more RNG to hope that you'll get a tiny percent boost in accuracy so you can actually land a shot. The game is artificially made difficult by simply overwhelming you with enemies, particularly during boss fights. This would be... acceptable, if the accuracy issue above wasn't a problem. But it is, so it's just annoying, not fun. Anyway, here are three of the issues I have with this game. If these things were addressed, it would definitely be fun.
This is a really cool srpg roguelite with a great soundtrack. My only real complaint is that the controller/steamdeck ui is incomprehensibly bad. Not unplayable but so many unused buttons and no smooth scrolling through many lists...
very challenging but fun note this game won't be for everyone, for newcomers it can be a bit hard, as someone going in blind I will admit my first try was very difficult took me awhile to understand everything I needed to do and got overwhelmed by mobs on the 5th day. but those who stick with it will find a challenging gameplay with beautiful at style that is truly enjoyable.
