Reviews
TLOU II is like a fine steak dinner, the kind you get treated to on your birthday. Everything in this game; the story, the writing, the graphics, the level design, the combat, EVERYTHING is just so polished and well done. It's the kind of high-quality game that almost downgrades all other triple A games you've experienced because it's just that well-done. I had purchased and played through this game when it came out back in 2020 and the experience was just so good I had always wanted to return. It took me a while to come around as I'm never excited to pay almost full price for a game I already bought 6 years ago, but this game is just so good. It was totally worth it. One thing I had not experienced in 2020 was the new DLC, No Return. I had initially thought this was an additional story DLC similar to the first game's, however I later learned that No Return is a somewhat strange attempt at a shoehorned in roguelike. It's certainly not terrible, in fact the base combat in this game is so well designed that it's pretty fun for a few hours. However after a few hours the cracks begin to show. There's no variety, no synergies, same 10-13 weapons each time, and the gameplay very quickly becomes obnoxiously repetitive. What's crazy is they designed No Return to have potentially 30-40 hours of content if you're willing to grind through all of it. It just seems so thrown-together that I have a hard time imagining someone doing that. In summary; if you've played the first Last of Us and never checked out the sequel, do it NOW (seriously, it's very good). If you're like me and played it back when it came out and you're interested in experiencing it again, go for it. PC is by far the best platform to experience it in. But if you've got your Playstation set up just a few feet away and you're just curious what's up with No Return, I'd say skip this and just replay your older copy.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

this game on grounded actually makes me want to jump off a building
The gameplay in this game is truly some of the best I've ever played. Everything flows so seamlessly between stealth and going completely guns blazing, and the combat is easily the biggest reason I enjoyed my time with this game. The driving force behind the story is great, but the big moments are where the writing is at its weakest. You can get sucked into the story so deeply, only for something profoundly stupid to happen and completely pull you out of it. I can't understate how good the gameplay is, but I also can't ignore how much the story frustrated me. An enjoyable game, but not an enjoyable story. I'd still recommend playing it, especially if you loved the first one, but I'd go in knowing the writing might not work for you.
JOGO MUITO VICIANTE, A HISTÓRIA É MUITO BOA E EU ESPERO QUE TENHA CONTINUIDADE.
