its great
The Grey-est game ever made, with a Purpose The Last of Us Part II is not merely a sequel; it is a profound, uncomfortable, and meticulously crafted exploration of the human condition. While many games offer players a moral compass, The Last of Us Part II intentionally smashes it. It stands as perhaps the "grey-est" game ever made, daring to move beyond the tired tropes of "hero" and "villain" to ask a much harder question: In a world broken by loss, who is actually right, and who is wrong? A Shift in Perspective Unlike the first installment, which solidified our bond with Joel and Ellie, Part II shifts the goalposts of empathy. It forces the player to inhabit the minds of those we might initially consider enemies. It is a masterful exercise in perspective the game isn’t truly about "Ellie vs. Abby." Instead, it is a deep dive into the corrosive nature of revenge and how that singular motivation manifests uniquely in each character’s psyche. Two Sides of Survival The narrative brilliance lies in how it frames the motivations of its leads: • For Abby: We see that even in a world of brutality, there is someone a person, a purpose that makes life worth living. Her journey is about finding something to protect when everything else has been stripped away. • For Ellie: Her path is defined by the grief of losing the person who gave her a second life. Her quest for revenge is a desperate, destructive attempt to process a trauma that cannot be healed by violence. Because the game forces us to sympathize with both, every arc feels earned and deeply personal. Even the ending is not a final statement, but a mirror; it is left entirely to us to determine what those final moments mean and whether the cost of that revenge was ever truly worth it. Technical Mastery Beyond the narrative, the game is a technical marvel. While the graphics are undeniably stunning, it is the insane attention to detail that truly lingers. From the way characters react to the environment to the smallest environmental storytelling cues, the world feels alive in a way that is hard to unsee once you’ve experienced it. The Cost of the Journey If there is a flaw, it is one of pacing. While the narrative depth is unmatched, the sheer length of Ellie’s portion of the game can feel daunting, occasionally stretching the emotional exhaustion to a point that might test the player’s patience. Final Verdict: 9.5/10 The Last of Us Part II is a difficult, demanding experience. It doesn't offer the comfort of a clean resolution, but that is precisely the point. It is a game with a purpose to make you feel the weight of every action and to sit with the complexity of its answers long after the credits roll.
peak but sad
im going to find and im going to kill every last one of them
Player from China, I have to say The Last of US Part 2 is a masterpiece, I feel like I haven't played such a wonderful game for a long long time, although I heard some of the players they have issues with the death of Joel and Ebby plots, I still respect the arrangements, here is my opinion, the producer of the game, they really don't want us to hate Ebby, playing as Ebby is another view to go through the story comprehensively, in a way Ebby, Joel, Eille and Tommy they are all victims in that world, hating can never end, so I feel fine about in the last, Eille just let Ebby go, instead of killing her, this is the first comment I made on steam, glad on this game,
