It has potential but is in a very Alpha state. The dev is responsive on the discussion board and seems to be working hard on improvements. I will give it an up vote towards that potential but right now its riddled with game stopping bugs. Combat is very jank and controlling units leaves much to be desired formation wise.

Sadly, I just can't with The Last King. The UI is the most awkwardly complex mess I've ever seen in a game. I love indie games, I love survival and strategy games, but with this one I just couldn't bear to spend my time on it. :-(

Nice battle simulator. There are still quite a lot of bugs for now but it has a lot of potential. I hope the game gets polished as it could look great and be even more fun to play.

In his telling of the Battle of Thermopylae, Herodotus describes a famous scene in which a Persian spy approaches the Spartan camps to gain important information to pass onto his superiors. While spying, the Persian soldier comes upon an unexpected sight. While some men exercised, many combed and tended to their long hair. When he relayed this information to the Persian king, Xerxes, the leader found it quite funny and believed that his troops would have little trouble slaughtering such men. Yet, his advisor warned him that the Spartans were likely preparing to fight, as it was their custom to comb their hair before battle.

Das Spiel hat einen super Ansatz, die Idee ist mega, aber ich kann das Spiel momentan einfach nicht spielen, ständig alle paar meter ruckelt das Game mal kurz, es ist umständlich und kompliziert, Maus verschwindet oft einfach , viele Bugs, Interaktionen mit Gebäuden manchmal nicht möglich. Kampf und die Idee ist aber cool, wenn die Entwickler dahinter bleiben, kann das ein super cooles spiel werden, zurzeit einfach unspielbar für mich. Ich warte noch paar Monate und schaue dann wieder rein, Entwickler, mach was draus, es ist cool :-)
