Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.71/day in the week to Sep 1 → 39.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The world you knew is gone.
You awaken as the last active Caretaker, a machine built for one purpose: save humanity. Across a vast ocean covering the ruins of Earth, you must recover human seeds, restore the Lazarus Complex, and prepare the next generation for launch into orbit.
The Last Caretaker is a first-person survival-crafting game about systems, choices, and purpose. Every resource matters. Every structure has a reason to exist. Every success gives humanity one more chance.

Recover human seeds and return them to the Lazarus Complex. Manage their growth, restore memory data, and prepare them for life beyond Earth.
Scavenge abandoned facilities, dismantle wreckage, and recycle materials into tools, weapons, power networks, and essential modules. Restore the machinery needed to keep the mission alive.
Rogue machines, hostile systems and the world itself will push back. Repair and maintain, upgrade your equipment, and protect what remains.
Restore ancient launch infrastructure, chart the ocean, gather resources and memories, and send the humans you raised into orbit. The mission is not survival for its own sake. It is a continuation.
Explore silent Sanctuary docks, Refuel Outposts, Underwater cities, and long-forgotten Seed Vaults. The story is uncovered through places, logs, memories, and the remains of a civilization that tried to outlive its own world.

I don't have that many hours in this game yet, nor have I progressed very far (I suffer from a severe case of exploration and hoarding syndrome), but based on what I've experienced so far, I can confidently say that this is a game worth paying attention to. I like the futuristic setting. I enjoy the ship progression system and the development of our little robot protagonist. I love the endless ocean and the central concept around which the entire gameplay loop is built. Of course, every game has its strengths and weaknesses, and this one is no exception. Here are the things that stood out to me the most and that I believe deserve additional attention and consideration: 1. The ship should offer more progression options The ship is the heart of the game. It's where we spend most of our time and how we travel from one adventure to the next. Despite its importance, I feel that not enough attention has been given to its development. It's the year 2100-something, I'm an ultra-advanced robot, so why am I sailing around in what essentially feels like a 20th century vessel? Why can't I modernize it, upgrade it, expand it, or eventually replace it with a larger one? I understand that the current design encourages players to be creative when optimizing limited deck space, but in my opinion, that's not the most satisfying solution. 2. The lack of a clock is surprisingly frustrating From the beginning of the game, I noticed the absence of a proper clock. The only one available is on the ship, which makes it largely useless whenever you're exploring on foot. Early game nights can be particularly dangerous because of the worms and adding a small clock somewhere on the HUD doesn't seem like it would be a difficult feature to implement. 3. The tool bar desperately needs more slots The tool bar should have 10 slots instead of 8. Even when carrying only the basic tools and a weapon, I constantly run out of space. Inventory management shouldn't become a struggle simply because there aren't enough quick-access slots. 4. Weapon restrictions don't make much sense Why can I equip only one sidearm and one long gun? My backpack can apparently carry hundreds of kilograms of scrap, but I can't bring both an electric rifle and sniper rifle at the same time. The limitation feels arbitrary and doesn't really add anything meaningful to the gameplay. 5. The story needs to be communicated better After roughly 50 hours, I'm still not entirely sure what's actually going on. As far as I understand, Earth has been flooded, I'm a robot, and my mission is to raise humans and send them into orbit. Beyond that, the narrative remains somewhat vague. There may be more story hidden in the game, but so far it hasn't been presented in a way that kept me engaged or informed. 6. The game often fails to explain important mechanics I've had to look up answers on YouTube multiple times because the game doesn't adequately explain certain systems. The most recent example was the whalelike machine that supposedly extracts oil from the ocean floor. I didn't know how to charge it. I didn't know I could dock to it. Maneuvering my ship around it was frustrating (another thing to look to). Once I finally managed to power it up, it submerged and disappeared. Now I'm left wondering: when will it return? Where will it surface? How am I supposed to track it? There should be some clock counting down on map at least. A codex, manual, or ingame journal explaining basic mechanics would go a long way toward reducing confusion. This wasn't the first time I encountered an issue like this, and I doubt it will be the last. 7. Some bugs still need attention A few quests appear to be bugged, such as the mission involving placing sharks into tanks 1–3. Some items also don't seem to work properly, including the large resource crate. That said, the game is still in development, so I assume these issues will eventually be fixed. We also desperately need power sockets working in longer range or multisockets. It would also be nice to see more progression options for the robot itself. After around 50 hours, I'm already approaching the maximum level, which makes character development feel somewhat limited. So far I did send only like 6 humans to orbit, visited maybe 10 locations, that's early game basically and I am nearly maxed out. Overall, the game is moving in the right direction and is absolutely worth keeping an eye on. It clearly isn't a finished product yet, and you can feel that while playing. At the same time, there's no doubt in my mind that it's already a good game, and with continued development it has the potential to become a great one. Good job and good luck devs.

Game just Hard Crashes my PC after awhile and it runs kinda terribly. it's a Decent-ish game if you like dissembling and building but it just doesn't like my PC for some reason.
Love the concept and that it has a different feel than many games. The gameplay kept me locked in!
I like the idea of this game, but the implementation is still VERY rough. Little thought to UI design makes things far more cumbersome than they should be. The main character is a robot, but the player is NOT. The game play loop is go find an item, grab it, and carry it one at a time to the deconstructor, and put it in. Repeat until you're sick of it. Many of the things you need lots of are difficult to acquire, if not outright impossible. Also there are exploration points on the map that have solar panels and wind turbines, but if you repair them they do not produce energy. I wasted quite some time and resources trying. Finally, if you put an item down, be darn sure it's where you want it because you can't pick it back up or move it. You can't even destroy it. This includes those pesky hose extenders.
Man bleibt dann einfach an irgendwas hängen, was man nicht sieht.
I actually have put in more like 50 hours so far. I thought I had grown too old for gaming. I have seriously been depressed about it for a little while now. Until this. Post apocalyptic, sci-fi, end of the world type stuff, technical writing: writing as good (IMO) as Citizen Sleeper; terrific world building and mechanics and systems. Clever save mechanic. And I feel like I'm just getting started! They even have buried MOD music files (remember the demoscene and all that?) Oh - and this isn't some procedurally generated world where you are just crafting to hit generic dopamine receptors - it feels like there's a huge exploration part of this carefully, no, lovingly crafted world I've explored so far. And - the platforming is not janky or bolted on. The combat is not janky or bolted on. The graphics are great. The sound is great. You can attach all sorts of mods to your weapons! All the games systems feel polished. I even sent the Developer feedback/praise and I've never done that in my life. Playing everything on epic. I haven't been able to put this game down since I got it 3-4 days ago and I have a full time job. I'm only taking a brief break now to let my brain have a rest then back at it tomorrow after work! I have no idea if they'll drop the ball later on but 40 hours in and I feel like it's still ramping up! I couldn't recommend this game more! This game (so far) has made me realize I'm not too old to fall in love with gaming again. Post apocalyptic, crafting, sci-fi, exploration, puzzle, some platforming but nothing annoying.
If your PC is good enough or you don't really care about getting a vibrant picture then this game is a great deal. I describe my complaint from a perspective of a person who expects the game to be highly optimized. Optimized enough to run the same way as it does in the trailer at all times on "Recommended" specs. The game has a lot of good to offer, but at its current state it is very.. hard to deal with. It took me a lot of time to get somewhat stable 105±10 FPS. So, be ready to cook in the settings menu for a good hour if you want to play without frame generation or aggressive upscaling (both are unbearable due to a significant amount of high-detailed meshes in the game, so going below "quality" DLSS preset will make some things look so bad in motion that you will probably start hallucinating stuff). Overall, I have a strong feeling that this game is another victim of UE's all too convenient optimization techniques that were slapped onto the project to improve performance while not caring much about how the game would perform normally. You really can't play without MegaLights enabled: 105FPS raytracing w/ MegaLights, whopping 4FPS raytracing w/o MegaLights, and 70FPS w/o raytracing at all. I wouldn't care much, but MegaLights seem to completely obliterate underwater lighting, making it grainy and tanking underwater FPS down to 70-80 (the amount of FPS is not problematic, while the difference is. 30 fps drop is really easy to notice) I haven't played much for now due to performance issues, so I can't comment on what the actual game is besides things that are seen right from the start. I do like physics engine's resolution here, manipulating objects feels smooth enough. Animations are rough, no Satisfactory (the game) level but I'd say that's too much to ask. Visual design is great, level design is good enough for me. Would've been a very good game if not for performance, I really do hope that optimization is on the way UPD: The more I play, the more I see the dissonance here. The thought that was put into the game is very great, core mechanics are incredible. But everything is so, so janky. Animations, shooting, enemy AI, hitboxes, movement. It feels like a demo movement and animations build, not an actual current version of it. I'm so hopeful that they would fix it ASAP
