Explore a drowned Earth, restore lost systems, and raise the last human seeds in this first-person survival-crafting adventure. Build, scavenge, defend, and launch humanity back to the stars.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.71/day in the week to Sep 1 → 39.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The world you knew is gone.
You awaken as the last active Caretaker, a machine built for one purpose: save humanity. Across a vast ocean covering the ruins of Earth, you must recover human seeds, restore the Lazarus Complex, and prepare the next generation for launch into orbit.
The Last Caretaker is a first-person survival-crafting game about systems, choices, and purpose. Every resource matters. Every structure has a reason to exist. Every success gives humanity one more chance.

Recover human seeds and return them to the Lazarus Complex. Manage their growth, restore memory data, and prepare them for life beyond Earth.
Scavenge abandoned facilities, dismantle wreckage, and recycle materials into tools, weapons, power networks, and essential modules. Restore the machinery needed to keep the mission alive.
Rogue machines, hostile systems and the world itself will push back. Repair and maintain, upgrade your equipment, and protect what remains.
Restore ancient launch infrastructure, chart the ocean, gather resources and memories, and send the humans you raised into orbit. The mission is not survival for its own sake. It is a continuation.
Explore silent Sanctuary docks, Refuel Outposts, Underwater cities, and long-forgotten Seed Vaults. The story is uncovered through places, logs, memories, and the remains of a civilization that tried to outlive its own world.

Reviews
There is no a lot of instruction or introduction but that kind of gave it some mystery. I've been completely hooked from the first 5 minutes... There are tons of objectives and places to explore. Also the ocean if freaking terrifying... Highly suggest at bare minimum trying the Demo because this has been the first game in awhile that has felt unique.
Early Access game sold at full price, while being riddled with bugs and crashes. Not to mention crappy performance, even with frame generation. Don't buy if it's over 10 dollars.

игра хорошая! очень продуманная механика строительства и связи с кораблем, НО когда оптимизация? почему с выключенной трассировкой все тормозит ещё больше? надеюсь разработчики озадачены этими вопросами
wonderful concept for a first person experience. The boat is what drew me in. The fear associated with the desolation is palpable. The anxiety of diving into the depths is gripping. Just the right amount of safety and danger. I'm afraid of heights, and that also applies to deep water... Who knew? ...and I'm a career military sailor, for cryin' out loud!

Some areas can have low frame rates but they have been improving that. For a early access game it feels quite coherent in the story and teaching you how to progress and grow the tools you can have available.
I really like a lot of aspects of this game: art, music, theme, crafting, and the traveling are all really good BUT, I'm on the literal second story mission and trying to complete it is literal hell. The mission to visit the Lazarus destination is literal horror. It's crazy dark, the music is tense, and there are literally an endless amount of leeches that can jump hundreds of feet in the air and glitch through floors/walls and there will be hundreds on your screen at one time making it impossible to do anything. I literally went in with over 300 rounds of ammo and burned through it so fast that once I made it to the Main objective I was trapped. I'm not going to continue playing till the leech nonsense gets fixed because they are everywhere, in then ocean at POIs, in the story objectives. It's has literally ruined my experience with a really great game, that I will not continue to play until it is addressed.
it's very fun but some keybindings need improvement
A fun new take on the survival genre. Kind of like Raft but slightly less sandboxy and a bit more guided/mission-based. That's not to say that you have to follow the missions, you could just sail around doing your own thing, but the guidance creates a bit of purpose that was a bit lacking in Raft.
I love this game, it scratches an itch very few games do, the resorce gathering aspect, wiring mechanics, and exploration. Honestly feels very similar to prey in som regards with awesome factory setups
Die Demo war schon beeindruckend, aber das volle Spiel? Wahnsinn! Empfehle ich jedem, der eine Art ruhiges Survival sucht.
