Explore a drowned Earth, restore lost systems, and raise the last human seeds in this first-person survival-crafting adventure. Build, scavenge, defend, and launch humanity back to the stars.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.71/day in the week to Sep 1 → 39.14/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The world you knew is gone.
You awaken as the last active Caretaker, a machine built for one purpose: save humanity. Across a vast ocean covering the ruins of Earth, you must recover human seeds, restore the Lazarus Complex, and prepare the next generation for launch into orbit.
The Last Caretaker is a first-person survival-crafting game about systems, choices, and purpose. Every resource matters. Every structure has a reason to exist. Every success gives humanity one more chance.

Recover human seeds and return them to the Lazarus Complex. Manage their growth, restore memory data, and prepare them for life beyond Earth.
Scavenge abandoned facilities, dismantle wreckage, and recycle materials into tools, weapons, power networks, and essential modules. Restore the machinery needed to keep the mission alive.
Rogue machines, hostile systems and the world itself will push back. Repair and maintain, upgrade your equipment, and protect what remains.
Restore ancient launch infrastructure, chart the ocean, gather resources and memories, and send the humans you raised into orbit. The mission is not survival for its own sake. It is a continuation.
Explore silent Sanctuary docks, Refuel Outposts, Underwater cities, and long-forgotten Seed Vaults. The story is uncovered through places, logs, memories, and the remains of a civilization that tried to outlive its own world.

Reviews
Love this game, the vibes are just so well done, when crossing stormy ocean at night, or watching sunrise/sunset. It does need a lot more optimization, I am playing on 12-core 3.7GHz processor, 16GB vram, 64GB ram and my fps sometimes tanks to 20. But a huge fan of the game, really enjoy the gameplay and looking forward to it getting better and better.
Immersive with massive potential.

Great game so far, but putting it down until it leaves early access (don't want to have to potentially restart if a major content drop changes early content lol). Really works to switch up the survival formula. Graphics are great, controls are fine, physics-based interaction and puzzles are fun and unique, and the world-building so far has been fantastic. Also, if you played Subnautica and your stomach dropped when you looked down under the floater island, prepare yourself. It's DEEP out there. My only gripe up to now is the combat. Man it sucks, and having to deal with the little leeches that spawn every night sucks even more. Free fuel I guess, but so unfun to fight. Definitely encourage a buy right now if you don't care about waiting through EA for all the content. Probably 50 or so hours of content here based on what I've seen so far. This game is gonna be amazing at full release, though, if they keep on the same track. Actually one more gripe: the forklift. What the hell is this thing and who designed it? Controls for it are awful and WHO DOESN'T PUT SLATS ON THE BOTTOM OF A PALLET TO STOP IT FROM SHIFTING OR TIPPING OVER? WHY DOES IT HAVE NO COUNTERWEIGHT ON THE BACK? HAVE ANY OF YOU EVER SEEN A FORKLIFT BEFORE?
A lot more here than I expected, a lot better than I anticipated.
While still in early access and not completely complete at the time I'm writing this, it is an amazing game you can have a lot of fun with. Great story, excellent beautiful graphics, great music and sound effects, very lovely narrator voice, and lots of practical stuff to buiild and connect, small and big mysteries to discover. If you always need to have a lot of humans around you to be happy, probably not perfect for you ;), otherwise: Enjoy!
Первая половина игра шикарно , но потом начинается нереальная духанина с взращиванием людей
Great grinding game
grate game runs on low with 100 fps

I find it enjoyable. It's a good mix of story, worldbuilding and gameplay. There's a few irksome little things, like how you're always unintentionally grabbing and removing the cables connecting backpacks to weapons - like the flamethrower - when trying to interact with or pick up items. Also diving is a bit terrifying. I like it dry. Its safe where it's dry. The only thing I find that nearly ruins the game is how obtuse it can be to figure stuff out. It took me SO long to figure out where the stupid inputs were for the rocket. I like that its not hand fed to you, and you have to figure stuff out, but - just put a little icon on the outside. Something. A tiny clue.
