The world’s collapse and the origins of the Infected are still being developed. For now, the focus is on survival systems and giving players freedom in how they play.
The Infected is in active Early Access development. Some features are still being added and balanced, and you may encounter bugs or performance issues. We’re a small team building this game with the help of community feedback. If you’re looking for a complete experience, you may wish to wait. However, if you want to help shape the development, we welcome you now!
The aim is to deliver a feature-rich survival crafting game with more systems and player choice than most of the genre. Survival can mean farming, base-building, or facing hostile AI — the choice is yours.

I find myself repeatedly coming back to this game over the years. It runs smooth, has a rather in depth building system, and having the option to turn off enemies so I can just build is incredibly refreshing. Even while running on an old. barely functioning laptop, theres no issues with lag or struggles with having to use lower quality graphics. Being able to drop the game, come back and there be a new update has been amazing! PROS: - Easy to learn, hard to master - In depth crafting and base building - Survival system isn't overly punishing - Can run on a potato of a laptop CONS: - Every major game update has shunted my entire save under the map, rendering old saves useless - Travel is relatively slow unless you get a vehicle early on - Combat is basically just "Stab and pray you hit fast enough first" - Some systems, such as ore collection, aren't entire clear and require outside resources, of which there arent very many
Cannot play as continually crashes.....
this game has had a long road and i have started over a few times, left and came back to see what is new. i think the improvements are really moving the game forward. there is one thing i would like to see is some kind of beacon for where your home is. in the dark even with a mark on the map which is slightly off i can not see my house and have literally almost died now twice trying to find it in the dark with the map marker as close as i can get it to where it is. i am about to make pumpkin lights all around it hoping it helps. but maybe a beacon light on top of my house or something that goes with the game would be so helpful. something that doesn't need a lot to make. a suggestion for quality of life in the darkest of night. also can we make a bigger water canteen? those my only 2 gripes just keep up the improvements.
This ones pretty good. It's a fun survival game with frequent updates.
Great game
buen trabajo
a mix of the forest and 7 days to die, taking their worst mechanics and putting them together
On comprend rien, c'est injouable on dirait un jeu sous chatgpt
Solid game. Difficulty sliders let you play how you want. Plenty to explore. Don't love the combat with enemies, but again, you can basically turn them off, if you like.
