Play as Liang, the main character and protagonist. His family has run a successful business for years, but Liang never saw himself as his father’s successor. Instead, he would rather travel the world as a hero and visit as many new locations as possible. The day of the Great Tianqi Explosion in 1626, was the day Liang lost everything. After becoming a refugee with nothing left to his name, he turned to a life of crime. Liang became a bandit and makes a living by killing others for loot.

The Hungry Lamb: Traveling in the Late Ming Dynasty : ( Worth the Journey ) ⚠️ SPOILERS AHEAD! I'm honestly not usually a fan of this kind of dark story. There were even times when I had to stop playing for a while because some parts were just too heavy for me. But I kept going, and after finishing it, I can honestly say: It was worth it. The story follows Liang, a bandit who ends up escorting four girls during a really dark period of the late Ming Dynasty. What starts as a simple job slowly turns into something much more complicated, with revenge, survival, and redemption becoming a big part of the story. But for me, the biggest reason I became attached to this game was Man Sui. At first, I wasn't completely sure what to think about her. As the story continued and more of her past was revealed, though, I started caring more and more about what would happen to her. Her story is honestly heartbreaking. That's why seeing Man Sui survive and eventually grow up in the good ending genuinely made me happy. After everything she went through, seeing her finally get the chance to live her own life felt so rewarding. She deserved that happiness. ❤️ That was probably my favorite part of the entire game. I also liked watching Liang change throughout the journey. He's definitely not a perfect person, but seeing him slowly become more caring toward Man Sui and the others made his character much more interesting. His journey from someone mainly focused on his own survival toward someone willing to care about others is one of the parts players often praise about the story. The game can get really dark, though. Famine, violence, trafficking, death, revenge, and cannibalism are all part of the story. That's probably the main reason I had to take breaks sometimes. I'm just not normally a fan of stories this heavy. But at the same time, that's what made the happier moments hit harder. The artwork is beautiful, the music fits the atmosphere, and the voice acting helps make the characters feel much more alive. Those are also some of the things players consistently praise about the game. I also liked the different endings. Some of them are painful, while others give you that feeling of: "Thank goodness." 😭 The game has multiple endings, with choices affecting the story and Man Sui's relationship with Liang. And after seeing some of the worse outcomes, getting the ending where Liang and Man Sui both survive felt even better. Seeing Man Sui alive, growing up, and finally having a future honestly made me really happy. I went into this game not really expecting much, and honestly, it wasn't even the type of story I normally enjoy. I had to stop playing a few times because of how dark it could get. But I kept going because I wanted to know what would happen to Man Sui. And after finishing it... I'm really glad I did. The story stayed with me, and Man Sui's ending made the whole journey feel worth it. Definitely Positive. ❤️

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.86/day in the week to Jul 23 → 10.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
