About
Takumi Sumino is a totally average teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, a place where every day is much like the last and nothing bad ever happens. All that changes when freakish monsters attack the town and start wreaking havoc. A strange creature calling himself Sirei appears and offers Takumi the power to protect those he holds dear... All he has to do is stab himself in the chest!
The next thing he knows, Takumi is in Last Defense Academy, a school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a wall of otherworldly flames. He and 14 other students have been drafted into the Special Defense Unit, a team tasked with keeping the school safe for the next 100 days. How much are they willing to sacrifice to take back their normal lives and save the world from the grotesque school invaders?
The curtain rises on 100 days of war and despair...
Takumi's choices will decide his future, but there's no telling what kind of consequences these decisions might have...
When the invaders attack, it's up to you to protect the school in SRPG battles.
Use each student's unique Specialist Skills to turn the tide of battle in your favor!
Spend time with your teammates to deepen your bonds, or explore the wilderness and ruins outside the school.
You can even use the items you find to craft gifts and get even closer to your allies!

Hundred Line is a wonderful time. I enjoyed the characters, I enjoyed the story, I enjoyed the battle mechanics. I ESPECIALLY enjoyed the OST. Getting to play Hundred Line is awesome. I was so addicted. however.... HUNDRED LINE 2 IS A SLOP FEST, AND HALF THE ENDINGS ARE SO GOD AWFUL THAT I'VE GENIUNELY SPENT OVER A YEAR NOW PLAYING IT IN SMALL CHUNKS Sorry to spoil anyone, I'll keep it as vague as possible, but to those unaware, Hundred Line 2 is the title for the game after completing the first plotline. This is basically the part where all your flowchart decisions come into play, and oh my god. Is it something. I'm marking this review as positive, solely for the fact that the first plotline, and SOME of the flowchart segment is great, and definitely worth the price, but this is quite possibly the most middle road game I've ever played. I both love it so much, and can't bare it simultaniously. It gives me the feeling that the idea behind this games development was more headstrong on getting the ball rolling, that they didn't have the manpower to actually... STOP the ball rolling. I was fortunate enough to start off with arguably one of the best endings once I got to the flowchart part of the game, and even then, I saw the cracks. This game promises 100 endings, which is very much true, but 80% of those endings is you dying or messing up. I haven't even seen a good half of the flowchart, but I can just tell such is the case. I came to realize how underprepared they were when the aforementioned bad endings basically just showed a screenshot of the enemies or the subject matter in blender. Grey backdrop and all. I am not actively trying to ♥♥♥♥ on the development of this game, because I think the fact that Too Kyo Games managed to pull this off as Kodaka's last ditch effort, where he said he was contemplating quitting game development all together if this game flopped, is a miracle of its own. But what I AM saying is this: If you play this game with the intent of getting everything done, and seeing all there is to see, prepare for insane burnout. It is by no means terrible, but it can get really tiring, really fast. Despite everything, I still love this game. I heavily suggest giving this game a go if you're interested. If you're new to visual novels, go play something else first to see if it's your thing. This is a horrible first game to get into the genre.
I love this game but I completely despise Sirei so much that he singe handily ruined the experience for me, Route 0 was so good since the fker is dead. I want to give a good review but playing this absolutely makes me mald Finished Second Scenario and I love/hate this route because the ending contradicts what route 0 Takumi wanted. Cant trust Kodaka anymore after this lmao.
