Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.5/day in the week to Jul 21 → 4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
The House in Fata Morgana is wholly fascinating. Although the story often plays like a movie, it could not be told in any format other than a visual novel game, and the creators certainly make good use of the medium. The game is very good at creating an unsettling atmosphere, deceiving you, and leaving you with a lot to think about. The resulting experience is uncomfortable but hauntingly beautiful. I will admit I preferred the earlier chapters over the later ones, which seems to be an unpopular opinion. I think I felt that way because once I uncovered some of the surprises, the creepy feeling of mystery was gone. However, I was still engaged the whole time as the story of the mansion had its grip on me. I would recommend the game for anyone who loves visual novels, meaningful stories and characters, or gothic literature.

This story is one of those special ones that makes you wish you could forget it just to experience it new all over again.
greatest game ever
ive never seen a more relatable character than michel and it means a lot to me
giving up on this. music is great n setting interesting enough that i played up to chapter 6 but i have had enough. just awful awful writing all around. genuinely can't wrap my head around the praise this vn gets. prob goes crazy hard if you've never read a book before idk
The greatest piece of media I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. Greater than any game, any show, any movie, or any other story I've experienced. Everything from the music, the visuals, and of course the narrative are masterfully thought through and executed. I won't pretend I have the necessary knowledge on literature to make this claim, but I wouldn't be surprised if this were one of the greatest stories ever told. Note: Download the "Remaid of dreams" mod if you're playing on PC! It is a must!
40 часов наблюдать за страданиями дюжины человек было интересно правда хорошая новелла которую я никогда не забуду
"Until our souls cross paths once more in the boundless sphere of fate." one of the best vns i've played that explored gothic tragedy phenomenally. while the misfortunes start out as shock factors, it eventually sits on you like a heavy weight, comforting in its constriction. you expect it, and yet it hurts just the same. one of the characters said that a lot of the tragedies only ever occurred because of the prejudice, ignorance, and culture of it's time period and that's what makes it more devastating, the knowledge that there was really no other path it could've went to. brilliant art and soundtrack, and the plot went to places i couldn't predict even when i tried. only criticism is the pacing dragged for a bit too long in the final segments, and for some reason the steam background recording feature doesn't work? you can't screenshot too. :/
