About

Scavenge and fight for your next day alive under the shadow of gargantuan war machines. Enemies in the game can literally tower over the battlefield. To put it another way:

The battlefield is unpredictable thanks to The Forever Winter’s Dynamic Encounter system: enemies have their own goals and agendas, operating in coordinated groups, undertaking full-scale battles — and they’ll intelligently react to your actions. The battlefield you leave won’t be the same one you return to.
Use your wits, stealth, and skilled gunplay to make it out alive. Choose your path in the shadow of the two great superpowers, loot the dead, and make it out alive. While the warring factions may ignore you at first, the more disruptive you become to their goals, the more they'll seek to remove you from the equation.
Ecological collapse compounded by runaway technological advancement brought us here: a world choked by 40 years of industrial-scale violence between two military superpowers, unmerciful mass killing by AI automata, human-machine hybrids, and the bleak truth of human nature. There’s two sides to this war, and you’re not on either.

The idea was there, the war, the factions and the crazy crap going on. You always suck, you cant shoot or kill anything big. They added this tunnel thing, completely shot themselves in the foot. Its not fun
seems really cool, but crashes non-stop. keeping it in my library and rooting for these guys
разрабов этого калового кода надо самих сбросить в эту вселенную
This game has incredible art direction , which i absolutely love, the atmosphere is 10\10, it feels like something from PS1 era.. Reminded me og game C-12 on PS1, no idea why but.. It just have that "something" despite looking janky, with not the best combat and overall having a "very unfinished" feeling. The optimization is BAD. Look at my specs and tell me, why a game that looks like this showing less than 60fps on Ultra settings 2K and DLSS-Quality ? Switching to Perfomance mode helps to keep it around 60-70, but still this is absolutely unacceptable.
is bad
OMG!!!! This game could be so freaking good, but there are things in the game that will drive you crazy. Because, you will want to love and you will want to refund it as well. I won't go into detail on all the things that could be changed to make this a really good game, the developers can reach out if they want input. I will let you buy it, play it, and feel the frustration my squad felt.
Only after a few minute of playing, I could already tell how unpolished and buggy of a mess this game is. On my first boot of the game, it deadass just didn't work. I had to validate my files all over again THEN it works. Shortly after, I fall off a ledge, teleport back to the top but not on the ledge! No! I spawned where I had already fallen, so, I kept falling till I died :D Idc if its early access, this is unplayable and unsatisfying to play to the point where it shouldn't have been released.
Experience: I haven't played much of this game so far but I do want to say. I was only about 10 minutes into this game and a stranger named billy bob joe(I think) joined my party to my surprise. He was the most wholesome kind person to a newbie in this game. I didn't know anything yet not even the controls, which he found out later when I accidently threw a grenade instead of healing. He showed me ropes and explained to me the different enemies, loot and led me through tunnels. I never got the chance to send him a friend invite :( . But I want to say that billy bob joe if your out there. Thank you. You made feel welcomed in this game and made my day. Game Review: As for my extremely early review as you can see i don't have much time but here's my scores so far out of 10: Gameplay: 6 (Gunplay can be a bit wonky and the AI have strange patterns) Graphics: 7 (Not groundbreaking but not horrible, some textures do look wonky) Atmosphere: 10 (Amazing Level design and character design) Sound: 9 (Not perfect but pretty good) Controls: 7 (The preset gamepad controls are a bit difficult. But you can change the mappings. Keyboard and mouse are pretty standard.) IF you play this game I recommend you get it on sale and remember its a early access. It's not a bad game its a work in progress and the devs do somewhat listen to the community for ideas so that's always nice.
+ music, art style, story, concept, vibes, giant robots - controls, devs dont know how or just can't design a good game
