About
Welcome to Off The Grid, the next evolution of the shooter genre from visionary director Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium). Set in a near-future world where contestants are cybernetically augmented and dropped into a televised bloodsport where death is temporary, but fame is forever.

In Off The Grid, YOU are a modular death machine. Switch your cyberlimbs at any time, and adapt your playstyle on the fly. Loot the body parts of those that have perished around you, and assemble your dream loadout. With more than 15 limbs available to loot, steal or drop in with, the possibilities for mayhem are endless.

Off The Grid takes movement to the next level with a dexterous aerial movement system driven by advanced jetpacks. With strong utilization of the verticality of the maps players are able to both enter and exit fights rapidly, rewarding aggression and a fast-paced gameplay.

Drop onto Teardrop Island, a living, breathing paradise built with cutting-edge technologies. Every corner of the map is designed to deliver a truly cinematic experience, setting the stage for an ambitious 60-hour narrative campaign coming later this year.

Finetune weaponry to fit your play style: with thousands of combinations there is a loadout for any kind of killer. Tune your guns to perfection with a wide variety of cosmetics and attachments, or lean heavy into Teardrop Island’s latest cyberlimbs in order to dominate the battlefield. Call in your customized loadout at any time and make the battlefield your playground.

Extract high-value loot off the island amidst a brutal battle for survival. Adapt, outsmart and work your way closer to victory. Off The Grid isn’t just about being the last one standing, it’s about looting and extracting the most valuable gear before becoming the next casualty.

Every item you extract or earn can be traded on the in-game marketplace. We've build a truly open game economy, whether you're snagging that weapon you’ve been coveting, or flipping unused gear, every deal is driven by real supply and demand. List, trade and build up your perfect loadout.

When Regen technology is invented, it's bought out exclusively by a consortium of billion-dollar gaming companies to stage a Real Battle Royale. It's a Super Bowl-style televised bloodbath where everyday people are augmented with cyberlimbs and dropped onto an abandoned island to fight to the death.

After getting PTSD from playing way too much Warzone, PUBG, and Apex, I decided this give this one a try and yes it felt weirdly different but in a good way. The gun mechanics need some work and some balancing issues here and there, felt kinda slow to me but it's not "COD" so all good. cant wait for them to ruin it with overpriced cosmetic packs and ignoring players getting beamed by rage spinbotters in every match.
why are all the joke pubg games better than pubg

runs horridly def not optimized for pc i advise all pc players to not touch the game till its optimized
I play casual with a few friends and since July 3rd most of our lobbies in Trios Casual are filled with lvl 500 to 1000 players. There's nothing casual about the game anymore. We use to win a few matches a night, now we usually get hammered every round. Seems like these high level players are able to use their abilities almost non-stop. Can't imagine new players sticking around. The July update has destabilized the game play....mic wasn't working. Now works 100% in lobby but maybe 25% of the games. Game play is choppy, laggy and sometimes get disconnected.
They focus way to much on on skins and useless stuff vs actually fixing their abysmal game performance. I mean just disregarding their player base completely. The game has so much potential but at this rate I'm sure the game will die before they ever decide to actually fix it. Sad state of the gaming world we live in these days. Fix Your F$#%&#$ game!

AI VOICE MAKED ME THIS INSTANT NEED TO UNINSTAL THE GAME
I love Neil Blomkamp's worlds and settings, but that's kind of all this has going for it. It's based on a really ham-fisted cryptocurrency scheme that never took off, and as far as the gameplay goes, it's really just PUBG with more interesting traversal. It's not great. The graphics look plastic, and it doesn't manage to pull off the scale of a city due to the washed-out grey rendering at Medium quality or the terrible frame rate at High. The 30% performance boost brings it up to where it should have been at launch, but I'm afraid this game has too far to evolve with too little time left to do it.
got on and instantly put on 4 hours, the movement and weapon mechanics are amazing, it feels like if PUBG and APEX had a threesome with cyberpunk 2077 and dual splooged to create this masterpiece. the only things that need work are the balance of certain abilities, ESPECIALLY the mirror breaker or whatever it is (im saying that as the one using it) and along with particle optimization. im using the Valve classic 1280x960 and it runs perfectly and looks amazing still
games addicting forsure no other game can you wipe whole teams with no legs or arms but theres alot of bugs for the pc end like i keep getting booted mid match cant reconnect or the screen keeps flickering different colors no its not on my end i play fiveem servers with not one of these issues plus theres some kinda bug where my friends cant invite me but i can invite them were on different plateforms im pc there playstation im not giving up on this game it has mad potential to be a great game even the greatest battles are intense fast paced would like to see a stricly extraction mode added so the matches are longer have better meaning but overall 5/5 stars even with the bugs that need fixing
