1. Atrocious UI. 2. Full cover only works for enemies. 3. RNG slot machine. 4. Waste of money.
I purchased this back before it was released, but just got around to it now. The game is very good. Resource management, hiring guns, random events, battles with bandits, all while trying to protect and expand your territory from intruding clans. The game has nice progression through both the growth of your poses as well as improving your clan research. Strategy research even unlocks new strategic actions you can do on the strategy map. I've seen some comparisons to Hard West (also a good game), but I don't think its a good comp. Sure both games have cowboys in tactical combat, but The Feud is a bit deeper in some areas (like the territory control aspect of the game). And the AI is more dynamic. I'm playing on the second hardest difficulty (heroes can die) and the difficulty seems appropriate. The game doesn't hand you wins for free, but nothing has seemed insurmountable. Sometimes the enemy posse has a few guys who are high level (like 10s compared to your 3s), but those guys are still very killable with a little strategy. I also ran into the wolves in an early event. I think one character got about 25% damage. The rest were fine. I just stood on a rock and kill most of the wolves before they could reach me. Unlike Bandits, wolves just rush in without considering cover. So they are easy to out maneuver. The AI is different for different human opponents too. Some will turtle, while other will aggressively pursue and attempt to outflank you. It adds good variety to the game.
I want to like this game, but no; Presentation of the story is terrible. UI is bad, It feels like a mobile game. I certainly don't understand how with 95% accuracy I missed 3 in a row, while enemy basically one shot me while I am under full cover.
Jogo ruim, no geral.
Solid turn based tactics cowboy game, not quite as good as Hard West but no weird west vibe to this so you may prefer this if you want a more authentic game. Is quite challenging use of cover and formation quite important as you will be outnumbered in most missions. Good range of characters and skills, graphics and sound decent, maybe slightly overpriced but is good fun to play. A-

I love this game. It has some things that need to be tweaked, but, I like the overall feel especially the campaign. I hope that the developers keep working to fix the AI issues and difficulty of the campaign since the higher settings are almost unplayable. Overall I love the mix of characters and abilities. It is just plain fun to play. :)
