You’ve landed yourself in prison again, and your only chance is to engineer an escape by any means necessary. How you do it is up to you! Why not cause a prison riot? Or dig a tunnel right under the walls of the prison? Or even steal a guard uniform to blend in with your captors?
The Escapists is a unique prison sandbox experience with lots of items to craft and combine in your daring quest for freedom. Life in prison will keep you on your toes with the strict rules that you’ll have to break. The guards are out to stop any escape attempts, so you’ll have to avoid suspicious behaviour by attending roll calls, working a prison job and hiding your stolen craftables.

Et c’est pour ça que, malgré tout… je laisse un avis négatif. 😢 🎮 Ce que j’aime vraiment : Le concept de prison-break en pixel art, c’est juste trop stylé 🧱✨ L’ambiance est légère, le style est fun, on a envie de tenter mille plans d’évasion 💡 Et j’ai passé de très bons moments… surtout au début. 🔁 Mais voilà pourquoi ça coince : C’est beaucoup trop répétitif. Les routines sont vite pénibles, et les journées se ressemblent toutes 😴 Les vendeurs ? Pas assez de variété, pas de vraie logique, ça manque de stratégie 🛒 Les gardes ? Parfois très cons, parfois omniscients, souvent buggés. C’est dur d’y croire, du coup 😵💫 Et surtout… les mécaniques d’évasion manquent de profondeur. On voudrait des plans complexes, des outils ingénieux… mais souvent c’est trop simple ou trop limité 🛠 🖤 Conclusion : J’aime The Escapists. Mais je suis déçue de ce qu’il aurait pu être. I watched someone play this game many years ago and bought it again to play for myself. Not very good at it and I don't play it often, but I like it
Got this on sale and it was great value. This is a patience simulator. Can you survive the monotony of everyday prison routine with just a few hours every day, or night, to make progress on your goal? I like that there's more than one way to complete your objective. Use different items, different jobs, different areas of the prison. There was the occasional glitch that annoyed me, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.
O The Escapists é um jogo bem simples na aparência, mas surpreendentemente profundo, aqui não vence quem corre mais, e sim quem tem o plano melhor, ter que aprender a rotina da prisão, conquistar NPCs, juntar itens e executar a fuga certa é extremamente satisfatório. O jogo em si exige paciência, errar, repetir faz parte também, algumas conquistas dão trabalho e o ritmo pode cansar, mas quando o plano finalmente funciona, a sensação compensa cada minuto jogado. Não é um jogo de ação, é um jogo de estratégia disfarçado logicamente, mas para quem gosta de pensar, testar caminhos e dominar sistemas como esse, é uma experiência viciante e recompensadora ao longo do tempo.
