The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Absolutely fantastic and Obsidian's best game IMO. I first purchased this game on Steam while I was on bedrest recovering from spinal surgery. I've played on Steam and Xbox and prefer the console and big screen, but if you have a controller, the game is smooth on PC. Fantastic open world, do anything, RPG with a huge modding community of supporters. Lots of fun. Best part of this game is the vast exploration.

Best game I've played in ages! It never gets old!

New computer, had to load Skyrim again. Of course I'll be playing with Vilja as my main companion. OK, her monologue gets a bit tiring, but she kicks ass in a fight. Not to mention there aren't a lot of other followers as pretty as she is. Yeah, I've been through the main quest many times... but kicking Alduin's butt never gets tired. So off I go again, as the swash-buckling Dovakiin. And mead?? I've tried it in RL. I prefer beer and wine over that piss-water. And, I DO drink milk. Wanna try me with a bastard sword?

Nostalgia might be killing me but Skyrim is just one of those games that you can't really dislike, the good parts are good and the bad parts are just funny. Probably the most creative mod community in history
