actually unplayable due to performance issues. Appears to have been entirely untested
This game is a buggy mess, with frequent crashes and freezing. I had uninstall and reinstall the game just to load my saves and now my mods arn't working. Its been over a year sense the game came out and is still facing release day bugs that break the game.
This is really a meh experience, nearly awful.
Just tried playing this again since I first got it after release. It's still unplayable. This game has some of the worst performance/optimization I have ever witnessed.
Crashed 3 times within one hour.
This game doesn't look good enough to run this poorly. Even with extensive tweaking of the engine.ini file, cranking the settings down, and utilization of FSR/TSR on performance, after about an hour of play, the game starts to chug down into single digit frames. The only explanation I can think of is some kind of memory leak. Hopefully the Switch 2 release brings some kind of performance pass for other platforms.
sono gay e non ci stanno abbastanza femboy
Oblivion is a good game. This remake looks really nice, but the performance is disappointing :/ For me, 60 fps is the bare minimum requirement. Even on the lowest settings, the framerate ranged between 25 and 55.
Most unoptimized piece of fecal matter to ever grace my steam library, do not buy. They have abandoned the game and refused to fix the performance issues, the game is 100 gigs of bloatware for your PC.
Over 3 hours of gameplay down the drain due to it crashing exactly as I was saving!!! Now Before anyone who "might" think that I should of had mutiple saves, saved frequently, or not deleted my autosaves, that's besides the point, although your probably right. The fact is, it happened and i would say if your going to play it, just make sure you have at least one other save as a backup. Other than that, I never encountered any other bugs, or glitches except for very occasional light flickering. Shame, as I was enjyoing this.
