Эта игра не особо отличается по содержимому от других игр этого разработчика. Как всегда, основным жанром игры является "NTR". Со старта можно выбрать рут - играть за парня или за девушку. Далее новелла будет практически без выбора, за исключением одного единственного момента в руте у парня, и то в самом конце. После выбора рута остаётся просто читать диалоги и наслаждаться контентом 18+. К сожалению, в игре отсутствуют такие стимовские привилегии, как достижения и карточки. Девушки в игре привлекательные и имеют сочные формы. Как указано в описании, в галерее вас ждут почти 18 секс-сцен. Секс-сцены без анимации, выполнены в формате "слайд-шоу". Если судить по галерее, то над контентом 18+ работали два, а может и три художника, поскольку стили рисовки немного отличаются. Галерея в игре, кстати, не особо удобная, так как она открывает арты не в полный экран. Если подводить итог, то я рекомендую покупать игру только со скидкой. Mostly Very interesting until near the end and not for everyone, My main hatred of the graphics used in this text heavy glorified click along diary are the lack of noses, in particular female noses, look at all similar titles can you spot a female character with a nose ?, how hard is it (just 2 small lines required). Apart from the lack of a nose I liked the graphics but absolutely hate the paragraph after paragraph after paragraph after paragraph after paragraph after paragraph (got the msg developer ?) of utterly boring looking text, a font change is definitely needed. Even having Sam’s txt in blue and Beth’s in pink would help Yes there are choices ; play as husband or wife and near the end for Sam a simple yes or no neither matters; it’s just more of the same with naff endings. In short cocky husband caught covid which left him impotent with no stamina and he is unable to satisfy his wife, because of a seemingly innocent photo he suspects her of cheating which makes him paranoid their relationship becomes strained he becomes an arse, an old school bullied victim makes the husbands boss a scapegoat to take advantage of an increasingly hurt, frustrated wife who desires to be sexually satisfied, hey presto wife gets well and truly used and shagged senseless while husband gets humiliated. But it’s very repetitive and lacks any real imagination. I played both parts concurrently: Sam first go thru a few days save and then switched to Beth, that way you get a better picture. e.g. like when Drew is pounding Beth in the back of his van while Sam is sat in his car right next to the van, he knows (sees and hears) all the ruckus in the van but doesn’t realise it’s his wife being hammered, but while she is she can see thru the window looking at her husband. You do get a better picture when playing concurrently. But Make sure you read Sam’s story first and lead by at least 2 days, reading Beth’s story first essentially kills most of Sam’s story, e.g the above van incident if you read Beth’s story first you’d know it’s her getting pounded, but when you read Sam’s story first you think it’s someone else getting pounded in the van as your spy cameras say Beth is in bed. It’s clear Beth loved Sam and tried to help him, and it’s clear his jack the lad history, covid blight and sight of his sexy hot wife frustrated him, we’d all have the same thoughts, fears and sexual desires, why else play an NTR game 😗. Who hasn’t at least one bad thought about their partner (where are they, why are they late, what are they doing). NTR/Cuck are fetishes like all fetishes it’s personal choice you don’t buy a flight sim and moan about flying planes, so if you buy a game known to be NTR orientated, don’t moan about your in game partner getting royally shagged. Sam very quickly turns into an arse which helped drive Beth into the arms of another who took full advantage of the situation, solely to get revenge on the Husband and his friend/boss. Now I know it doesn’t make for a very long game but if “we” were faced with seeing our other half taking a selfie in sexy underwear and saw the tips of 3 fingers ; we’d say you look amazing but how did your fingers get there ?. And yes as I saw the picture I immediately thought that’s Rachel’s hand or another woman’s. And if not reassured there’s lots of devices that cost very little that can help, which don’t need a 3rd party at all. No need for a Private eye and huge expense 🤔. The story is interesting but very very long. As mentioned the graphics are ok and the few animations make the most of the situation I.e you get the impression Drew is pounding Beth hard. For me I didn’t like either of Sam’s endings both very far fetched, and considering Beth still loved him despite the sexual brain washing her whole personality changed, so why didn't she just blow Drew in front of Sam isn’t that what Cucks do 😉. Considering Sam beat up William why didn’t he do the same to Drew ?. Improvements; Beth’s Nose and personally I’d have liked to have seen Beth blowing James and instead of giving a William a sleeping tablet give him ecstasy so he shags Beth (evidence for Sam), and then Drew and William both roast Beth. I’d have also liked to have seen Beth do a total Bame stranger at the whim of Drew (exerting his total dominance on her), there should be a 3rd ending a happier one, where Sam wins Beth back. Value ?, I got it when it was on offer (less than a decent paperback), there’s lots of text, it’s fairly well written up to a point, the storyline is interesting you get 2 perspectives, artwork and animations. Would I recommend ?. I wouldn’t because I did really enjoy where the story was going and then it nosed dived, essentially it’s NTR revenge porn and although NTR is becoming more popular there are very few that are any good, best one being Deliverence where you can share you’re wife (and she becomes a total slut), while you screw others in order to complete your goal. “The edge of” starts well gets interesting and then shoots itself into both feet; I got very very very bored of the constant abuse and negativity after Sam beat up William and plot holes ?, more than a tea bag. One other main question; Where does Drew get his stamina (battery up the arse ?), again very far fetched !!. Beth’s story is a lot better but that also descends into boring repetitive and unimaginative action, again with a dire ending, that doesn't match either of Sam's.

There is a lot of story here, twisting and turning through gas-lighting and cuckoldry, as a husband (Sam) descends into a type of NTR madness that you'll best witness with a "Yes" choice during his play through, while a "No" choice also results in a not to be missed ending, albeit slightly shorter. Top this off by playing through as the wife (Beth), a must for understanding her perspective and her ultimate awakening. While Sam and Beth are the main characters, they are puppets to be manipulated by an old grade-school friend (Drew) of the husband, who the husband bullied and harassed during school years but now the tables will turn with a most delicious revenge, taking away everything the husband is and ever will be, including his wife. Favorite details : * Wife's sex language, including "Ahh...mmmmm...nghh...f-fuuuu" (she definitely develops her own language) * Going full stupid (wife's description of no longer being herself or loosing all control) * Wet fart sound during sex (sound effect for male orgasm) * Sweaty sex in a hot van (ah, those were the days) * Glory hole in the master bedroom * Late comment by wife on feelings towards husband where he occupies "tiiny, tinsy, spot in my heart - like an old ♥♥♥♥ stain" (ouch, that's special) While you'll need to power through a lot of reading in early stages of the husband play through, it will even out and draw you in later. The characters develop well and the story is clever. Highly Recommend this one.

Moral of the story: Never c*m by yourself and leave your woman hanging. Because if you do, she will lose it and look for another c**k to hump on. Thumbed down because Sam acted like a manchild throughout the story. What a disappointing character.

Warning do NOT play this game if you don't know what NTR means. If you do and you are into that, or at least tolerant of that, then this may be the game for you. After 100 percenting the game I don't regret my purchase and might recommend it but with some caveats. While I enjoyed the premise, many of the scenes and a good portion of the game. Ultimately the game's slightly too dark tone kept getting in the way of me enjoying the game sometimes and I ultimately have mixed feeling about the game. Pros: The writing is excellent. The game is longer than you'd expect for its price. The art the art is great and the scenes are plentiful and mostly very well done. Cons: The most important issues I have with the game (even more than the tone) is that the main trio of characters are all unlikable in three different ways, and it makes it hard of me to put myself in the characters shoes or even care about them at all. like I mentioned earlier the tone is slightly too dark and there aren't many choices in the game. Minor nitpicks: it would have been nice to have a little voice acting at least for the wife in a few scenes and third tier charters aren't shown in the game, which early on makes you dismiss them as unimportant to the plot. My recommendation is if you're into NTR with dark themes pick this game up, you'll love it! But if you are similar to me and are into cheating/cuckolding but not into NTR and especially not with dark themes then its a lot harder to recommend. In that case id say pick it up when it is discounted and maybe only play the game about halfway through on the husbands side then switch to the wife's side and play a little over halfway through hers. You'll enjoy that much, after that its up to you to decide if you're willing to grit through the unlikable characters and increasingly darker tone.

Boring....... Utterly and simply boring.

tl;dr 7/10 VN, NTR game with no happy ending, per the norm of a majority of NTR games, VNs, animes, etc. 7-10 hour VN to finish all of the story. [h1] A more in-depth review, SPOILERS!!! [/h1] [i] The Edge Of [/i] is... interesting. Under the context of as it should be seen, an NTR Visual Novel, it has an enticing and captivating story that easily can pull any drama seekers and NTR enthusiasts attention for [u] most [/u] of the story. [h3] Sam [/h3] Under Sam's perspective, the "protagonist," of the story truly sells himself as a high case of insecurity and, sadly, desperate controller of his marriage that he begun destroying out of his imaginations that his wife was unfaithful. Sex has become difficult, not only from a health problem that seems to be more or less... well... a premise to getting cucked XD, low sex drive seems to be the main point of the virus in question, but it takes a backseat to only poke its head up only to remind the reader why Sam is not fully a cuck, yet. The story is, oddly, unskippable, compared to his wife's side (probably so one could just skip to all the H scenes XD), and Sam does himself no favors to win the reader's vote for the man. Every fumble he could do, he does. Antagonizing his wife, suspects her of foul play, hell, the only thing that didn't happen was the sex getting ruined halfway through, which I feel would've really sold how badly in shambles the relationship between Sam and Beth was becoming. The story builds on the suspense that Beth may be guilty of something, but Sam worsens the situation every step of the way. around the halfway mark of the story, things start to ease for Sam, but... well, he caused the entire nightmare scenario to come true in the end due to his paranoia... There are two endings for Sam's path, a Yes or No choice. One path takes Sam down the path of becoming an absolute beta in his relationship, as Beth is manipulated into, in the most unfortunate twist, a generic NTR woman with the blond hair and piercings to boot. It probably is the most disappointing outcome in this entire VN that the game falls into traditional NTR rut that anyone would see from most NTRs. The other ending is... not better, but also more quicker, and painful for Sam to bring its end. An ambiguous conclusion that is told that Sam's career, life, and marriage is over. [h3] Beth [/h3] Oddly enough, I truly believe Beth is the actual protagonist of The Edge Of. Her perspective is more light hearted and tragic, versus Sam's suspenseful and frustrating fumbles that leads to the outcome. Every moment spent in her eyes of what Sam puts her through is just a heart wrenching tragedy as she struggles to make Sam happy, even if it costs her happiness. Yes, her side has most of the H scenes, and, tbh, they aren't half bad, if you are used to the NTR concept. If you are new to NTR, oh boy, buckle yourself in, this is the tamer side of NTR. The story for Beth kinda gets a romantic side (as much as people might or might not agree about), although it is one sided from Beth's perspective as she is essentially pushed into an affair from Sam's own doing! Her perspective makes some H scenes bubbly and given a "Beth-vision" to make the tragedy occuring right in front of the reader not a titanic strike to the gut. The guilt is always there for Beth, but that guilt slowly ebbs away the longer she remains in the affair. From start to finish, Beth slowly transforms into the, unfortunate, generic NTR woman. Her story ends around the 90% mark of Sam's story, when the two are in William's apartment for the full collapse of the marriage, so to speak. [h2] Personal Rating [/h2] Overall, the entire story is a solid 7/10. The story is great, but is sabotaged by the traditional NTR ending. Nothing special, fully predictable, which hurts. Happy or bad endings aside, I feel the endings should've stuck out with the rest of the story and deliver something that would have let this NTR story stand on a pedestal amongst NTR in general. Literacy was pretty spot on, maybe a "your" vs "you're" issue at the most, but the story was cohesive and understandable! The art was average, but suffered random "moe" or sillier iterations of Beth that felt as if the H scene she was partaking in was not to be taken serious, or at least, that was what it felt like. Even if the scene was to be rid of context, the cute factor definitely plays down any erotic tension. Seperating the paths into segments is probably a better way for me to convey what I liked or didn't like of The Edge Of in sub-ratings, if you would humor me... Yeah, i will say this is the definitive turning point between the midway and ending that harms Beth's story pretty badly. H scene and art? It's nice, it's erotic. Storywise, however? This is where the story just falls from whatever grace it had into the generic NTR category. [h2] Conclusion [/h2] I'm not much of some English class wiz with a 4.0 gpa to give some amazing end to a review(which is probably not that great to begin with lmao), but... I do want to say. I liked the story, from Beth's perspective, at least. Her story I could see as a drama affair movie or episode in an H anime. I was invested for the two-three hours of her story, I felt bad, I rooted for her, and it hurt to see the fall. When a game, or VN, or any media gives you emotions from its contents, you know it delivered. This was a tragic end. I feel empty, but in the way an unhappy ending media would leave upon you. So The Edge Of delivered. It stands solid for what it starts, and I enjoy that. It's a drama affair book or show in a VN. If you're upset about this story cause of Sam, Beth, or anyone. That's good. You have a right to be upset. That's what this story was delivering to you. The tragedy of insecurity, paranoia, bad communication, and vengeance to a couple who wanted the best for each other (even if Sam's side makes that harder to believe, but he's the typical, generic cuck of the story, not the hero), that left a gaping wound for someone to destroy it all. I enjoyed the story, it's not perfect by any means, but there was potential. I would recommend this game, if so others could see and, if anyone is developing an NTR game, VN, manga, etc, can take notes of what others like myself have gone through... albeit like 3+ years before me lol. The ending is what brought this story down, but the beginning and build up was definitely great. You are allowed to hate this game, or love it, but remember, this is all FICTION. It may bring up a bad memory, or your ethics would violently repulse you from the game, and that's ok. Emotions is good. Apathy would be worse, I think. But again, The Edge Of is fiction. It's an NTR game that appeals to NTR enthusiasts, and drama lovers, like myself. Anyways, I'm glad to post this. Even if no one sees this, or it's the most unpopular review on this store page. Со стороны героя нам показываю только часть истории и у нас только подозрения или это наш разум над нами шутит. Со стороны героини мы видим всю историю целиком. Делаем вывод что все подозрения были правдивыми. Главный герой получился слабоватым. Я так и не понял причину такого поведения девушки. Начинать лучше со стороны героя. Концовка немного странная. Здесь неплохая рисовка, хотя со следующей игрой от разработчика "N'd By Clumsiness" не сравнить. Неплохое музыкальное сопровождение. ВН для поклонников жанра. За ВН 6 из 10
