Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
An epic medieval action-adventure video game that is definitely not a legend.
If you're looking for a game where you blow up a lot of stuff or murder a lot of people... this is not your game.
If you're looking for a game that's a beautiful visual spectacle... this is not your game.
But, if you're looking for witty razor-sharp satire on the themes of video games in our society... this is still not your game.
If you are looking for a zany spoof in the style of Monty Python and Mel Brooks... this is your game.
The beautiful, redheaded, and obnoxiously thin Princess Carmeana has been kidnapped and held ransom. The King, not wanting to incur the expense of deploying the army, decides to recruit a "fairy boy" to Rescue the Princess™. Meanwhile, there lived a poor farm boy named Kai (pronounced "Lance"). One day as he was trudging back to town, he encountered a fairy named Tabitha and saved her from financial ruin. Tabitha decided to tag along with Kai for awhile (it was the least she could do). As luck (or Destiny, depending on whether you believe Tabitha or Kai) would have it, they soon encountered an army recruiter who was looking for a "fairy boy". Kai's Glorious Quest™ to save the hot rich skinny redhead had begun.
In this third-person action adventure, Kai will travel all over the ostensibly medieval kingdom of Bowtudgel (rhymes with "cow cudgel") in his quest to Rescue the Princess™. Along the way, he will solve puzzles, make money, conquer a set dungeons that are one-to-one with the Kingdom's major biomes, help people (sort of), kill enemies (sort of), buy hats, and find future DLC sidequests that you know very well the game developers will never get around to making. Along the way, he'll discover that there might be something even bigger at stake than a missing princess....

game feels like 2009 in the best way possible <3 dialogue heavy, but love everything about it
YOU NEED THIS GAME. YES, YOU. READING THIS REVIEW. BUY THIS GAME AND INDULGE. GENUINELY one of the funniest games I've ever played in my entire life. This is a GOD-TIER parody game, worth every penny I spent on it. I can't find another word in my vocabulary to describe this game other than "sh*tpost," and that feels disrespectful to the solo dev, but I mean it in the most positive way I could possibly ever say it. He commits so fully to every bit, leans hard into every joke, and delivers *every time.* The writing is incredible, witty, and clever. The comedic timing is impeccable. It is well worth exploring every nook and cranny of this game, including the options menu. I am in the middle of my second playthrough thanks to the added side quest, and I am *still* finding new things thanks to items I had previously missed or obtained later in the game. It has been long enough since my last that many of the jokes feel fresh and still elicit the deepest belly laughs from me. This is a game I fully intend to get all the achievements for. Yes, even that one, Carl.
This is, notably, the first ever game that has made me sit through a Calculus lesson, or learn AEROSPACE ENGINEERING MATH. Carl, you magnificent man.
best game ive ever played in my life
Gameplay is hot garbage, but the humor is incredible.
Great writing. I've recently played a bunch of comedy games and nothing got me like jokes in The Ditty of Carmeana. It's not bad as a puzzle/quest game either. Nothing really hard, but it kept me engaged the whole time. Nice and short expirience which left you with a feeling of wanting more. If you gonna play it don't miss on Murder Mystery Sidequest!
The funniest game on steam. Almost every gag hit perfectly for me. The less dialogue and plot you know the more fun it is to play through.
Fun game to a point. Gozamata figth with that obnoxious ♥♥♥♥ cora made me dislike the game enough to quit it. Sure lets make a game with clunky controls where main appeal is humor and make a boss that needs to be damaged in specific body part with a crossbow that has a shorter lock on than my irl piss range. Oh yea if you ever get hit by the boss it does no damage (at least with my armor) but the ♥♥♥♥ will spam dialogue boxes at you forever. I tried to shoot the tail (but like i said i piss further and there is no better corssbows to buy from what i seen) 200 bolts later i hit it like twice or some ♥♥♥♥. Sword? Yea but you get insta killed if you hit the eye and boss ofter 180 in less than a second. So yea really bad fight with super fast boss that phases through walls and can just change its trajectory as it wants with obnoxious ♥♥♥♥ yelling (or rather spamming dialogue boxes that make you not see what the ♥♥♥♥ are you even doing as they are in the middle of the screen and you cannot tell her to shut the ♥♥♥♥ up). So yea some good laughs but combat is ♥♥♥♥. Edit: I don;t know how to reply directly to Dev so here. Yes Gozamata is damaged by other weapons (sorry if i was unclear on that) BUT: 1. If you attack by accident the eye you instantly die.(and Gozo likes to spin) 2. Cora will nag you if you try to come closer to gozamata especially if you get hit and you land on your ass. (she is really the main problem with this fight.). 3. Crossbow still has the issue of having pisspoor range and it is implied by steam achivements that crossbow kill is the way on this boss (as you get 2 achivements).
