I love the art!!

"Mystic Mischief" is a fairly simple 3D low poly adventure game that feels like a student project or something. The idea is you play a bird in a fantasy environment and steal things, cause mischief, and plan a big heist. Which would be okay if this had a tremendously good technical implementation. But it doesn't. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're designing games for. It's the responsibility of the developer to ensure the game runs well on the platform they're selling it on, with the primary peripherals that PC gamers use. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at [b]only 4 concurrent players[/b]... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? I think you should give this one a miss. Although it's free, your time and storage are valuable resources, and the market is filled with superior options.

Игра 'Mystic Mischief' – это очаровательная головоломка, полная волшебства и коварных задачек. Игроку предстоит примерить на себя роль маленького, но очень изобретательного духа, задача которого – устраивать милые шалости, не попадаясь на глаза обитателям старинного поместья. Визуальный стиль игры выполнен в мягких, пастельных тонах, создавая уютную и немного сказочную атмосферу. Каждый уровень – это тщательно проработанная комната, наполненная интерактивными предметами, которые можно использовать для достижения цели. Механика игры проста в освоении, но предлагает широкий спектр возможностей для креативного решения головоломок. Порой приходится хорошенько поломать голову, чтобы понять, как использовать все инструменты в своём распоряжении. Отдельно хочется отметить юмор, пропитывающий всю игру. Реакция персонажей на проделки духа всегда вызывает улыбку, а сами шалости довольно безобидны, что делает игровой процесс расслабляющим и забавным. 'Mystic Mischief' – это отличный выбор для тех, кто ищет увлекательную головоломку с приятным визуальным стилем и долей юмора. Рекомендую всем любителям жанра!
